Sadly, I really did. Bleh.

In better news, newest Berserk chapter: Casca. Is. BACK. For reference, its been 21 years (maybe 22) since she lost her mind. Twenty two fucking years.

A week before the premiere the OP for B: The Beginning was put up.

Marty Friedman sure gets around.

The early screening of the first 3 episodes has been quite good and is comparable to Psycho Pass and has a very 'western feel'.

Hm, quite good. I'm still not totally off the idea that Zeke's in on this, but we'll see, I suppose. Otherwise, yup, that's a lot of killing. And I may still get to see the sight of Armin's titan looming over everything like Bertoldt once did.

It is kind of weird how we are rooting for the titans to eat people this time.

Yea the way it was shown does make it look like Zeke is working with them and he probably was bothered by how Pieck and Galliard escaped from captivity. I have a feeling Jean is going to hesitate due to Falco and get shot next chapter.

Also B: The Beginning was a pretty good show and it looks like Netflix is likely to do a S2 given the ending.

Huh. How odd. I saw quite an amount of criticism towards the latter half of B.

Also the 9th episode of Violet Evergarden looks way too much like a season finale

So, after 21 years of excruciating hiatuses, killing monsters, jamming a sword through my fucking forehead, and being stuck on a fucking boat for 7 long years, they finally fucking did it.

I liked it for what it was. Though yea there was a lot shoved into 12 episodes as it was clear they decided to set it up for future seasons.

Apparently Fate/Extra Last Encore may only have 10 episodes, and there's whispers of production issues.

Oh Shaft. I love your work but seriously...

I think DB Super 130 has the best animation I've ever seen on a TV release

Ok so Ive started Bleach (about episode 10 right now) and I really like it but there doesn't seem to be that many episodes on Netflix. Is it because the show is short, they skip the filler or many episodes are simply lacking, like it was the case for Naruto?

Netflix is missing a lot of later episodes, in fact I think it only has like the first season or two?

Yea production issues are likely the cause given there were rumors that was the reason it had such a late start. Either way it for sure stops at 10 episodes on TV as the SAO spinoff takes that timeslot in 3 weeks so if there are other episodes they'll be OVA's.

Yay, SAO...

Anyway, Isayama has said that he hopes the third season will let him remove some regret of his about the manga.

I've seen plenty of joking about the shit machine but I figures it is more about the whole civil war and human focus. Who knows though.

edit: Berserk 355: That chapter...right in the feels. But...of course her memories of the Eclipse come back at the worst moment possible.

Yea I really wonder what changes we'll see as I didn't mind the arc that much and figured it'd be well done in anime form. I guess we'll see further hints of later parts of the story put in as well such as how they showed Ymir's backstory last season.

Well, that was an interesting way to go about it. Based on Eren's reaction, he did get the warhammer's power, then. That pilot of the zeppelin, though, Olangobo, he's not from Paradis, is he? And like, even with the tech improvements, I can't see them getting to zeppelin technology like that so quickly. Maybe other nations are assisting?

TG:re: Still a snoozefest. I checked out the opening of the new anime and its meh. Still prefer 1's.

Nice to see Saiko animated though. She was my favorite of the quinxes.

I think he'll be a Paradis but maybe they are getting support. I'd imagine there's some sort of surprise coming in the next couple chapters.

I haven't watched the new anime yet but from what I read it's at least being faithful so far and not too bad. Guess we'll see if Pierrot manages to mess it all up again.

Also Overlord is getting a 3rd season this Summer which is just unheard of for Madhouse.
