Default Zahn Writing Starcraft!!!!!

http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/blog/198...vels-9-18-2015

Zahn wrote an excellent trilogy of sci-fi novels set in the aftermath of another epic trilogy that featured an emphasis on strategy and tactics and starred a femme fatale with mind powers. While I'm not suggesting he write Heir to the Empire as a Starcraft novel (despite the sad fact that Disney is casting it aside), how is this not the perfect resume for writing Starcraft?

I'm especially geeked out because it's being published well after LotV so this may be how Starcraft pushes forward while they give Starcraft games a rest.

Zahn wrote great SW novels, but I think he likes his own characters way too much and many writers did the same thing which affected the old SW EU in a negative way.

Probably true, but with a franchise as small as Starcraft, that should be less of an issue.
