45 million abortions or so since Roe vs Wade is more deaths than pretty much anything else. The womb is a dangerous place if you are put into the wrong one.

The House just passed HR36 aka the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, a law that would ban abortion after 20 weeks nationwide and punish those who perform them after that point with up to five years in prison.
Contact your senators and demand that they vote NO to eroding what’s left of our right to control our own bodies and reproductive fates.

Contact your representatives and give them a piece of your mind.

Text RESIST to 50409.

Call the U.S. Senate Switchboard at (202) 224-3121.

Call the U.S. House of Representative Switchboard at (202)225-3121.

Most abortions after 20 weeks are already due to health issues due to them being nonviable, this is a way to punish poor people for having sex, and not adhering to narrow religious beliefs, pure and simple.

In about a hundred years or so, I wonder if people will really believe that the anti-abortion movement was mainly led by religious people.

Or, will they refer to the pro-life atheist websites that exist, then point to babies being killed in the Old Testament, and conclude

Quote:
So on the specific question of abortion, yes, those Christian pro-lifers were advocating for life in spite of their holy texts - and a good thing that was, too.
I want everyone to watch the Futurama episode "The Problem with Popplers". And, if possible, the King of the Hill episode "Dale Be Not Proud". They don't have anything to do with abortion directly. But they're popular culture items that helped cement my opinion when I was younger.

Darkmoon Card: Elementals

In an attempt to fight the propaganda spread by anti-choicers bearing false witness, a Dutch doctor posted a picture of a 6-week abortion on twitter.

Tell the Mayo Clinic their art is wrong. Not even being sarcastic.
