The alternate skins come from alternate universes, right? Maybe the main skins do too, and Valla and Johanna are the only two heroes whose main skins came from the main universe. Maybe Arthas is missing, in an universe similar to our main universe.

It's possible, though also kinda weird and random that Sanctuary would be an exception to that rule.
I always like having an in-universe explanation. Maybe there only is a single Sanctuary?

The only thing I think that could affect current WoW lore is the addition of new legendaries in Hearthstone that aren't characters in-game.
I wonder if Reno Jackson, Arch-Thief Rafaam, etc. are cannon. If they are, it could create some nice little lore details.

Well we know from HS that there are constellations in Azeroth (which is to be expected of course) and they have magical significance.

Also The Argent Tournament has become a repeating thing, except now for fun and not to train soldier to fight the LK.

And probably lots of stuff I forgot, and while that adds new lore there is no guarantee WoW will show it and may well carelessly contradict it.

You may also want to see this thread for connections that are less lore and more meta:

so I noticed liadrin mentions using a hammer in one of her HS voice lines

I was under the impression that blood knights never used hammers though? moving from a blood tempered ranseur to Liadrin picking up quel'delar

also whats taurenball?

and wtf is up with the ancient watcher, it seems to be in uldum but we never saw anything that seemed like it in WoW

also whats up with all the silver hand recruits?

and what about the gorilla knight?

also apparently tank factory in tanaris?

Also interested in clockwork giant origin

I have others but that's all I wrote down

There's quite a few of them in Uldum, the one the card art depicts is from a quest in Orsis iirc

Y'know, I bet the Super Sonya / Martian Gazlowe exist in the same multiverse as Thor-Zarya, magical princess Li-ming, and evil space emperor leoric and whatnot.

What about them? Think of it as recruiting a Peasant to do Militia duty, in WCIII. Warm bodies eager to serve the cause, but not well-trained in combat.

In a few years when dragons have been out of standard for some time, might we get the Year of Ysera, since she's now become a constellation? It would be an insanely cool reference.

Did we already know Morales was one of the UED medics that applied stims to their pet overmind?

EDIT:
