It'll be fun to play matches with him.
Who do you think is harder to kill him or Varian?

Of course, you have to get the talent for it.

As someone who plays both a lot, Muradin. He's got a bigger health pool, is capable of peeling for himself, and can't be bodyblocked. There's a reason he was present in almost every game at Blizzcon.

There's not really anything in this video that wasn't already on the PTR, but still.

The face and running animation are really weird, but other than that I think she looks fine. For what it's worth, I don't particularly care that they made her less thin and gave her actual pants.

Yes. The face especially. Her cinematic self looked better.

Is she coming this week or the one after?

I don't mind cuz it further differentiates her from Sylvanas, which is also the reason i'd have prefered her pantless (besides I also think she looks more queenly without them, ironically).

I wonder if we'd get Ysera? The literally look nearly the same and her kit already involves nature looking stuff

Kotaku article... Had some very interesting tidbits

https://compete.kotaku.com/alexstras...-he-1820345414

Quote:
Heroes’ meta universe is about to start expanding. After Alexstrasza and Hanzo finish their fight in the cinematic, both characters turn to face a series of mysterious portals appearing on the horizon. Dabiri highlighted that ending as an important clue for Heroes fans

“One thing we’d like to start doing more—and you saw this a little bit in the Alexstraza/Hanzo cinematic we had—is actually looking a little more about what the Nexus is,” Dabiri said. “What is our world, what are the events that will unfold within our world, how these different characters play a part in those events, and introducing new characters that are purely born from within the Nexus ... The Alexstrasza of cinematic just kind of hinted at that with the ending there, but you’ll see more of that in the future.”

Should be this Tuesday (so, tomorrow).

I can't really see Ysera ever being added as a standalone hero. I'm still holding out for Deathwing, though.

Honestly, I hope that means they'll just continue adding and expanding on non-playable Nexus lore characters like the Raven Lord or Ka, who are already in the game as announcers, map objectives, etc., as well as adding lore to the Nexus realms with skins and mounts.

Can't say I'm too enthusiastic about the idea of playing a Nexus hero when there are still so many important lore characters and unit/class archetypes from 20+ years of Blizzard history to pull from instead.

I understand wanting more characters from existing franchises, but I also think characters from Ravencourt or Luxoria would be cool.

Yeah, but I think skins like Countess Kerrigan, Grave Warden Malthael, and Serpent King Xul already fill that role of being Nexus characters that expand the realms' lore and represent the different aesthetics from King's Crest or Mistharbour or whathaveyou in a sufficient way, without taking the place of the classic Blizzard characters/units that the game's entire premise is arguably based around.

Those are nice but it looks like Blizz is giving the Nexus a bit more of a story of its own, so it may get some characters that can stand on their own as well. (Who knows, we may see characters who start in the Nexus and their 'alt universe' skins are ones in the franchises).
