They should have kept the Forest Trolls Cubans. The Jungle Trolls could still be Jamaicans.

I wasn't aware Shamen could summon the bones of apparently a Faceless One to make a bridge... that doesn't seem like the safest of spells

(seriously though, my god none of those scrolls has jack shit to do with Shamanism... it's probably a good thing they had a chance to take another crack at establishing it)

Also, love it:
"Outstanding! I'd be proud to wield this in battle myself!"
"Only a fool would use this in battle..."

Thrall has a low opinion of himself

LOL At least now I feel better about playing a female dwarf once in a while (spinning braids and bouncy tits are way better than female beards DX)

Let's hope he uploads the rest soon, I calculate there's only 2 acts left, and we've seen 5-6.

We have to go to Grim Batol, to meet Deathwing and Alexstrasza, and then back to Durnholde to destroy it.

It's a pity not all of the cinematics are available .

And Blizzard, FFS, release this as it is for 1€ in the AppStore. Free money! What are you waiting for?

The warlock magic in use by shamans made sense at that time. Orcish shamans were desribed as servants of the Dark Gods in WC2 era.

The game tries to expand the setting from Warcraft II. It is a path not taken. However, you can see several bits that made it into Wacraft III and WoW.

EverQuest came out in 99, and WoW is really patently obvious a story of some guys playing EverQuest and saying "we can do better." I just can't explain how bad Verant San Diego was in those days, so yes indeed they could do better.

WoW and WCIII were developed relatively in tandem. The Tauren were actually first introduced as a playable race for the then-in development WoW and were later revealed to also be in WCIII.

As a huge fan of old school Point & Click adventure games, I was shocked several minutes ago when I discovered the existence of this game. I refuse to watch the videos as I still have hope that Blizzard might release the game. Did anyone ever bring this up with them ? Or try to send an e-mail or something ?

Anyway, thanks for sharing this Put a big smile on my face today. Too bad the guy isn't willing to share the proper game :/

Doesn't matter if he records the entire game, imo. And no, Blizzard seems to have no intentions of releasing it :S.

Wow, it's awesome to see how similar the gnomes of Warcraft Adventures are to WoW. They didn't change much in concept

Sorry for the necro, but since the guy haven't uploaded more of the game, does that mean developpement was stopped there? Disappointing to see it stop right there.

No I think that guy is just lazy and/or doesn't care.

They cancelled the game pretty late into development and it was using an existing engine (part of the reason it was cancelled was because that engine was shit) which means it should have at least been fully playable, even if art or something was missing.

Seeing this game, it makes me wish for warcraft to hearken back to the days when the story had a charm and mystery to it.

The problem with warcraft now, thinking of in the beginning as the story being like a small platter of food, it was tasty, consumed quick, but you enjoyed it.

What world of warcraft has done, is taken every element in the story, and shoved it into a massive platter, all on one plate. You end up consuming what you want from it, but theres still more, and it because you can't eat it all, it begins to rot and decay.

Thats where the charm in warcraft is lost, far to much meat on the plate, it was better when story elements weren't just processed, when you had characters like the genuine lore figures interacting with it, unlike the player who just consumes everything and leaves the rest to rot.

This is where games like this, WC1-2 and 3 made the story so good, and wow just spoils it.

Perhaps it is good this game was not released or Thrall would be remembered as the typical whiny/silly adventure game protagonist.
