Default Leader of a Deserted Island

Well my thread over in the Lordaeron forum was locked because that purgatory is designed to punishment so I will move it over here.

So fun thread. If everyone was stranded on a deserted island like in the TV show Lost who would end up as the leader? What kind of leader would everyone be?
The thread seems to start off with a bunch of assassinations. A creeper. Destron dying from lack of insulin.

Is there anyway to save Destron with some sort of organ harvesting from a sacrificial lamb or some sort of coconut concoction?

I think I'd like Bolvar and Cantus to be quasi-opposing leaders like Locke and Jack on Lost.

SPK is the smoke monster.

Let's see:

Warlock and Cantus don't have admin powers on the island so no one will listen to them.
Leviathon would keep all the food for himself.
Bolvar would probably get himself killed in the jungle after wrestling with a wild animal.
Sarah would be too generous, which leads to others taking an advantage of it.
Fojar would start searching for the lost kingdom of Lordaeron.
Omacron is a sociopath, thus he won't give a shit about anyone.

What I will do? I'd hang out in my corner all day, and steal food from time to time.

Bolvar should lead, unless he forces us to pray. Also, why should we save Destron at the expense of another? Sure, I wouldn't want him to die or anybody else, for that matter, but what makes his life more worthy than the life of somebody else? (And even if it was, is it our call to decide who gets to live?)

I'd say it's a toss up between Bolvar and me. In a survival situation I know he can hunt with firearms but I don't know how good he is with pointy sticks (not to say I'm BETTER but I'd say we'd be on roughly equal ground, maybe giving me the edge simply because I'm younger and he's, what, in his 40s?).

I'm the guy who'd make the tough decisions, but a lot of you might think they're too tough. Also I'm already used to drinking my own piss, so that's a plus.

Who would have to sharpen sticks so we can have pointy sticks? Is it a good thing that if our leader gets killed by a wild animal and we don't have a predetermined path of succession?

I think Omacron would get snuffed out pretty early in an effort to avoid his inevitable betrayal of the larger group.

I'd ally with Bolvar while planning anti-christian and Paulite schemes behind his back.

Cantus for political leader

Bolvar for food but I'd probably wouldn't eat half of what he makes.

I might trust Sarah for morale.

Omacron would probably build us a boat. Or make Ferlion do it.

What power does Omacron have over Ferlion?

Funny, I'd picture you as Hurley, actually.
Without the eating disorder, of course.

I'd vote for Lev since I would think out of all of them he's the best suited. He's enough of an asshole to tell people to fuck off, but kind enough(way deep down) to actually care for the group.

Bolvar, while a natural leader, would just cause too much conflict in the camp and it would end up splintered in no time.

Sarah is way too nice, which would lead to our early downfall.

Cantus would probably just piss people off.

Omacron is too much of a psychotic jackass to be able to lead a group of people, most wouldn't listen to him anyways.

Warlock would not get anywhere because although everyone would respect him he's like the father who is always too busy at work to spend time with his kids.

Fojar would just rub people off and a coup would start almost right away. Don't even know why he's an option.

How big is this deserted island though? And where is it located? What size? And how did we get stranded there?

Isn't that basically a cartoon version of Omacron with shorter hair?

Crossed Swords (War2)

First, I think it's very likely that one of the lesser known posters ends up being a quality leader, just because someone has a big persona online, or power here, doesn't mean they'd be quality IRL. Someone like Baron, Garator, or ARM would probably be better than someone like Omacron or Leviathon.

From the limited knowledge that I have about people here Bolvar is by far the best choice save for the fact that there's a lot of angsty pinkos here that hate him and wouldn't listen to a word he says. If Bolvar was the leader I bet he'd utilize Cantus or someone like him to help keep his critics in line.

This is probably rather likely, simply because managing an online community doesn't necessarily translate into managing people IRL.

Nazja and myself would probably end up leading you all to your ends.

Oh, but you wouldn't know about it. Not until the very soap-opera esque reveal during the climax of the show.

The thing about words is that meanings can twist just like a snake, and if you want to find snakes look for them behind words that have changed their meaning.

Elves are bad.

It is the size of Rhode Island. Somewhere in the pacific. Plane crash. Everyone that wasn't us on the plane died.

Even if the dynamic were to be preserved it'd still end with a whole bunch of people screaming out differing orders and trying to get them followed without consulting any of the other leaders.

Does SPK count as an "animal"?
