I though he should have died permanently at hyjal since the energy incinerated his soul. To Honduras barely reformed after the skull of guldan wasted him. All the demons caught in the blast radius of hyjal are permadead

    Two things

1.) I rather liked Anveena; she started out as an disguise but gained life on her own; her story was also tragic; she gives her life to save the world but aside from the people at sunwell plateau and Kalec no one knows she even existed.

2.) I think Archimonde should have died for good or at the very least be badly injured by the blast of Hyjal. The "one legion all realities" opens a lot of plot holes. My compromise would be that unless the demon is hit by a REALLY powerful source of energy (for instance the world tree blowing up for archimonde, ash bringer for someone like Balnazzar) Demons do need to be killed in the Nether.

It's like Kerrigan; she finally realizes she's been selfish and cruel and so mellows out in act 3 of heart, sparing the people of korhal even when she thinks jim will never forgive her and has no incentive other than it would be the right thing to do. Kerrigan was bad but she finally pulls her head out of her ass and actually becomes a real hero in the end. Could have happened earlier but hey better late than never

Another thing about Illidan; my impression is that he WANTED to be a hero but was so hamstrung by his ego he screwed himself over. In the illidan book A'dal understands the legions threat and mentions fighting against it for years; he understood even when illidan arrogantly thought it was him alone. If he had worked with others like the naaru things lie the hand of gul'dan massacre would have been unnecessary.

Basically Illidan's ego held him back; Hawki has a story where Illidan has mellowed out and realized to an extent the folly of his ways. If THAT Illidan is in legion I think fewer people would be upset of if xe'ra acknowledges his weaknesses as well

PS one of the things recovered in outland is part of the ata'mal crystal

I would have had Tirion be gifted one of the shards and that amplifies his connection to the light enough to fight the lich king on even ground.

My idea was that in ice crown as the armies of the Ashen Verdict clash with those of the Scourge Arthas faces Tirion and the others at the top. He incapacitates them. As he does his ritual he unleashes a bigass army he's kept in reserve to unleash on the forces of the ashen verdict. Tirion breaks free using the light and shatters frostmourne, halting the army as the heroes hack arthas to pieces.

One explanation for why the orcs turn; garrosh oppresses the tauren blood elves forsaken and trolls and while the orcs may not like humans (not for no reason; the camps basically abused even the children who did nothing) they realize that garrosh is becoming a tyrant. The tauren and the others are their family too and Garrosh finally crosses the line attacking family. Maybe even have it that while some cheered Theramore may were also appalled even if they didn't show it. Or add alliance war crimes besides taurajo

You should make it that many of the orcs didn't like Garrosh all that much (have it that more orcs rebel against Garrosh for instance; blizz says that happened even though they don't show it.)

Or with Arthas have it that at the same time the heroes besieged Light's hope he unleashes his reserves; things go badly until the light shatters the cage.

I loved it but would like to see your take on the Lich King's fall or maybe even a version of cataclysm. I made my version of Cata and Mists (Malkorok is the big bad, orcs are less evil and Garrosh becomes nicer); I was hoping to do an Emerald Nightmare Expansion as well before Cata. Then I would have done a great sea expansion, that culminated in N'Zoth being released, at which point we'd get the three part caverns and the Attack on N'Zoth raid. THAN a ten year timeskip or so and we get Warlords.....followed by Legion
