Fear is beautiful.

I saw a cool idea for a WoW PUG hero

Dwarf Warrior tank, Night Elf Rogue, Human Mage, Draenei priest healer, and Worgen Hunter.

Level 1 talent to kick the Worgen Hunter and replace with a Gnome Warlock.

One ability was target markers putting the WoW Skull above afflicted enemy causing them to take more damage.

Well I suppose it's the old "do you get to do bad things with the devil or does he only do bad things to you" conundrum all sinners must consider. :P

When it comes to the Demons in Diablo, then yes, Mephisto was always my favourite too.

That said, I also think he's the most fitting for Heroes at this point. Though I feel he may be a way off because they've said no new Specialists for some time and, IMO, he's got Specialist written all over him. (It's possible he could end up Sin or Support but if they want another Diablo support I'd MUCH prefer Deckard)

Too bad none of those banter lines are any good. Sheesh.

...still excited about the Prime Evils and Vashj if these are actual hints of them.

So guys, which heroes are still "missing" in your opininon?

I feel that in-game we need more representation from each franchise.

WoW desperately needs:
A Priest hero
A Rogue hero
A Warlock hero (Gall doesn't really feel like the warlock playstyle so i don't really count him)
A (real) Druid hero (one who shapeshifts, maybe Broll Bearmantle?)
A draenei hero
A gnome hero (would love Gelbin as we have seen him in hints)
A Forsaken hero (I know we have Sylvanas, but she doesn't fit the image of the player character. Might I suggest Nathanos Blightcaller?)

Of the racial heroes we already have represented, I want to see their opposite genders eventually as well cuz hey, diversity never hurt.

SC desperately needs:
Rory Swann - cuz again, diversity (allbeit body shape in this case)
Gabriel Tosh - diversity (pulling the black card on this one, though now that Tracer has a spectre skin too I'm not so sure but a guy can dream, right?)
Alexei Stukov - cuz who does't love russian accents and a dangly carapace lol
Female Protoss - Salendis or Vorazun would do fine in this regard.
Protoss Machinery - we have the Siege Tank for the Terrans, why not Fenix in a Dragoon or someone piloting a Scout would be awesome)

My Diablo list isnt too long cuz most of what I want is already covered or at least hinted at but I can't stress one point enough. While different genders for D3 heroes would diversify it, I feel like there are alot more sources they could pull from first before going that route.

D2 Druid ftw (could give them a traditional worgen skin, more like the feral ones in WotLK than the playable ones in Cataclysm)
Malthael is a must
Zoltun Kulle is an interesting character. Feel he could somehow use Kanai's Cube as an interesting mechanic.

In a nutshell though, I like what we have thus far but I feel we need to diversify the character selection to appeal to how their audiences have peered into their franchises. They see these worlds through the eyes of their characters, do they not?

Or thats my take on it anyway...

Just talking about StarCraft for a second, I REALLY want SCV (Private something most likely) for Support/Specialist.

His voiceovers in SC2 are some of my favourites and I'd love to see the Heroes take on the skin.

But what about a Probe!

They could warp in pylons and photon cannons.

I'm with hammerbrew on this one. SCV could be a great standalone character. Idk, just my opinion but an SCV could have personality, as its a manned vehicle. A probe? Not so much.

With LotV, I think I'd much rather see a Karax hero with a probe companion perhaps. A movable ally that can summon in pylons and photon cannons, controlled by Karax himself. Little twist like that and it gives it a bit more character. At least thats how I see it

Mutterscrawl 11-01-2016 01:33 PM

Wonder how Symmetra and other Overwatch heroes will translate, Zarya and Tracer kept the same feel more or less

Would you make Reinhardts shield active like a qwe or a trait?

Reapers soulglobes translate well

Bastion would be decent for holding shrines and such

Who do you hope is next?

Gurzog 11-01-2016 01:53 PM

garrosh.

Eillas 11-01-2016 06:52 PM

Let's make our predictions.
3-4 heroes.

Varian. and mekkatorque.

Varian is a no brainer.

Mekkatorque has been in the files, and has been hinted that he would come later next year. maybe.
For the funny mechanic one it's down to Kel'thuzad and Mengsk
Kel'thuzad design would be epic. it's a classic favorite, and warcraft 3. Which they are doing warcraft 3 heroes.

Mengsk on the otherhand his kit if I recall was very unique mechanically which has no direct damage

Ethenil 11-01-2016 08:10 PM

It would be cool to get characters from Legion, such as Elisande, Odyn, Xavius or Helya.

I might be biased having not played Legion and all, but aside from Elisande, none of them seem iconic enough, or representative enough of wow

and Elisande only because she can represent Nightborne

If we get Odyn or Xavius before we get a troll or gnome, or draenei, that'll feel weak

Nazja 11-03-2016 07:23 PM

Technically, we have a gnome. She just happens to actually be a dragon in disguise.

Shapeshifters everywhere. Can't bloody move for the damn things.

Hence, not really a gnome

My point stands, if they want to add compelling heroes, most of those legion folks are too new

Need Kelthuzad, a dreadlord, a proper tauren chieftain since etcs kit is totally different,

We're likelier to see ragnaros than odyn atm

Ethenil 11-03-2016 08:52 PM

Of course, I don't expect to get them now, but rather down the line, when more well-established characters have been introduced.

For rights now, I would want (and honestly, expect), Kel'Thuzad, a dreadlord (in order of likelihood: Mal'ganis, Balnazzar, Tichondrius), Gelbin Mekkatorque with his Broken Shore vehicle, either Vol'jin or Zul'jin and, yes, Elisande.

That's more likely, though I'd add Varimathras to the possible dreadlords.
