I'm hoping this is just the "start" and that maybe there'll be a 2nd phase or something with more zones. I really doubt it though. |

They should've used Dustwallow and Wetlands instead, IMO.

![]() Explain this, canon-ailures
In Hillsbrad and Northern Barrens and Azshara mob camps that were wiped out in Horde questing continue to exist as local Alliance hubs complete with guards fighting the Legion

Ten. Years. Blizzard have forgotten it exists. I gave up hope of ever having any significant development in Blood Elf lands a long time ago.

![]() Are these the only zones they're using or will there be more?
If the former then that sucks, this is a perfect opportunity for them to use a lot of different areas but I guess that would take too much work. |

![]() ![]() they also try to invade caverns of time, but Anachronos makes up a barrier, and demon hunters protect it. On another note: Streamers said get excited for that reveal thing, while IGOD said we shouldnt get TOO excited. Now Granted that the streamers are people who a) make a living out of wow. b) Act on the stream. c) Are fanboys. my logical conclusion is that i should get over excited so the dramatic thing will come crashing down and get destroyed. ![]() Come on now. If the Horde can accept the accursed undead into its ranks then it can accept gingers.
Fojar, it sounds almost like they are reading your mind on the things you want to least see happen in that zone and then implementing them. The only thing missing is a group of noteworthy alliance leaders and Calia appearing there and affirming that the Forsaken are the true owners of Lordaeron and the alliance was wrong for trying to take it from them. ![]() why not? there are redhead elves. The reason we have purple haired banshees for helves is because WC3 were originally meant to be night elven and they couldnt arse to recolor them.

In light of Chronicles assigning Undead the qualities of "Mad and Cunning" I would earnestly like to believe that it's a zombie trying to manipulate people with sentimental appeals he doesn't actually care about but that wouldn't make any sense in the context in which he is making these statements. I'm beyond butthurt (okay maybe not totally beyond it) at this point and am more confused than anything.

Anyway, I particularly view quests as missions and adventures assigned to people, adventures or military. However, I don't consider them all completed, unless stated otherwise or required for the continuation of the questline. SO Gnoll camp #3 still has Gnolls in it or something. |

![]() I wonder what the characters in Westfall or Dun Morogh say, I guess nothing noteworthy since they're just not as memorable as Helcular or Cromush.

![]() Westfall seems to be bugged and so didn't appear in this round of testing. I suspect it will either be headed by Varian or Gryan Stoutmantle.

![]() 3 raid tiers in Legion. Launch tier, then a second tier in 7.2, and a third tier in 7.3.
A new dungeon will launch in 7.1. The PTR for 7.1 will launch shortly after Legion goes live in September.

![]() So that NDA is lifted and the reveal is... that Blizz is promising 3 raid tiers over the course of the expansion as well as more 5mans, and they promise this time guiz that they wont have a year long content drought at the end of the expansion.

![]() I'm glad we got three raid tiers confirmed everything else is ehh, but if we get more patches with stuff like the bonus events I'll be happy, speaking of that are the bonus events working on beta? any signs of MoP timewalking? or classic timewalking? or a world quest bonus event replacing the apexis one or something?
and on an unrelated note, anyone know of a way I can look at spell animations and such? trying to get a feel for all the new stuff "There is new tracking in place for high population zones, allowing the automatic creation of new instances of that zone. For example, if there are lots of Demon Hunters in the starting zone, a new instance of the zone will automatically be created. There were lots of lessions learned from previous launch day starting zone experiences, such as Blood Elves, Death Knights, and Monks." this is something I've been waiting for, I'm pretty excited also lore stuff Lore enthusiasts will be surprised most by Anduin's story in Legion. We will see a big leap in his development, with a young prince having to step up and make decisions that he hasn't been forced to make before. He has been looked at as a very pacifist character over the years, looking for peace between the Horde and Alliance, but as he gets older it won't be so easy. Players will come to understand his father's more aggressive approach. He is a character the team really wants to build out. We will most likely be waiting to see more of Illidan until a later content patch. There will be a lot of Illidan at a certain point. The Legion is tethered to something bigger and darker than the Old Gods. Sargeras sees infestation and corruption throughout the universe. He has fallen to the wrong approach, but there are issues in the universe and his approach is to eradicate it all. The current cycle of the game is in a place where we are facing really big and dark threats and only the heroes of Azeroth can save us. The nature of serialized storytelling is that there has to be a big threat, but the team could take a step back and look at smaller stories. Med'an is out adventuring in the universe, doing big important things that will one day com to fruition. He just isn't around right now. There will be lots of Khadgar in Legion. Waugh had no idea if Broxigar or Freya will appear in Legion. Some heroes are dying off in Legion, but there will be a lot of changes with existing characters, with some being put in positions you never would have assumed they would be put in.

![]() It's silly that they've put Med'an on a bus, dangling him around as though they have some possible future use of him. They should just outright say he's not canon if they're not going to do anything with him. He's a shitty character, literally no one would mind. And people would stop asking where he's at.
What's more likely going to happen is that Blizz is going to assume people asking about Med'an means they actually care or want the character around, instead of correctly interpreting it as people curious to hear more about the trainwreck everyone stopped talking about. Also this is interesting: Quote:
If they do another world revamp and put that in place, then theoretically all of EK and Kalimdor could be as relevant to endgame players as any zone supposedly is in Broken Isles. That'd be huge. Last edited by DerpiusMaximus; 06-10-2016 at 01:40 AM.. |
