Treecko. The most badass grass-type starter. Up until Gen V, the Treecko family were the only bipedal grass-type Pokémon (and now even Serperior doesn't have legs). Turtwig? It's just turtle Bulbasaur.

Torterra has a freaking ecosystem of its own on the back of it's shell, all arguments are invalid. And Sceptile was the best starter, until Ninetales with drought came into the picture. Damned that Chlorophyll.

I couldn't care less. Grass starters for life! Except Snivy that one was terrible.

I think at this point it's basically an inside joke with game freak. They're all pretty different in their uses, Blaziken is an all around pokemon with a great moveset, and is now broken thanks to speedbost, Infernape is a glass cannon, and Emboar is more defensively minded, but still, I think it's just gamefreak trolling us.

It's the best combination. May get water out, they're too common.

Fire needs to be in yes or yes. Maybe fire-ice-earth? Dunno. Electricity isn't weak against fire, so it would be hard to put into.

The whole non-fire/grass/water starter idea has been around as long as Gold and Silver. It's not happening.

Fighting-Psychic-Dark could work... But the traditional Fire-Water-Grass should remain.

We can't have psychic v.s. dark because Dark-type Pokémon are immune to psychic attacks. The golden rule is that every type must either be super-effective, and deal twice the damage, or not very effective, and deal half the damage, to the other 2 types.

Just give everyone an Eevee to begin with like in conquest, and all issues are solved!
