Or maybe Wardens, like all night elves, secretly want to be dominated.

It does explain Tyrande's relationship with Varian and Malfurion....

It was like if Kael'thas had been a paladin sworn to defeat the Legion and the only blood elf alive who wasn't actually addicted to magic, only to spontaneously turn traitor and joined the Legion anyway.

I guess Cordana just "looked into the orc's eyes and saw despair" or something equally flimsy.
She said the orb of dominion spoke to her.

Sure, but wouldn't a specialist like her be able to dispose of the orb before it began to influence her?

She's no Ginny Weasley dealing with things she doesn't understand, she's an elite auror who should know better.

Edit:
Nothing beats the idiocy of our characters, though. We could have killed Gul'dan and his cronies, but instead, we chose to free them...

I hate that blizzard always makes us be "Young".

My characters are mostly old badasses.

But blizzard makes it seem like my characters turned 15 the moment they were created. and then +1 year for each expansion. Characters always refer to them as "Young"

Is she a specialist though? We have a habit of projecting head canon onto others.

We were told to free Gul'Dan, and I thought they were in a banished like state?

She's a Warden. I'd say that that makes her a specialist.

"Do whatever it takes to get Gul'dan to stop his channeling."

I'd say that destroying the runes and killing Gul'dan afterwards would have been enough.

While Cordana was probably, yes, an experienced handler of evil stuffs, you gotta remember this is Gul'dan we're talking about - the most powerful mortal warlock ever. Maybe he had a contingency plan in case we took down Garona: special magics specifically to target Cordana, whom he knew would probably be handling such an artificact.

We have people who work at power plants but sometimes accidents happen.

Soo, as I was poking around in the files...

Just found another "NPC" skin for the human model. Maybe it's old news, but I didn't see it before:

It looks like maybe its supposed to be a dummy you can display transmog sets on like in Skyrim or something?

Also how did you get WoW model viewer to work with the Legion beta?

Workaround by exporting all model and texture files (did so for only character, creature and items) with CASCexplorer and telling the modelviewer to also use additional files from the exported folder. (but setting the standard wow path to the live client)

So it looks like the Legendary questline is not a legendary questline. it instead is an "Artifact" questline at 110. where you do stuff. I am doing it as we speak. you grab the heart of zin ashari. to unlock hidden capabilities in your artifact. Later you get blood of sargeras (crafting material) and a corrupted essence from the nightmare.

Everybody forgets about what was possibly the best content patch in WoW history. The only thing that patch lacked was dungeons, and even then we still had loads of shit to compensate.

Blizzard certainly have, given they've refused (several times) to use the Dailies model from it that was universally well received.

Oh I still remember it as the best patch ever, and so do many others.

Still busy with the Stormbreaker-achievement.

The Horde was doing quests for her as part of the Garrison campaign in WoD and she didn't seem to have any issue with it so its not really new. Infact she was pretty friendly.

Yeah, and her portrayal up to that point established her as the last person in the whole expansion who would have listened to anything it said.

Instead it's a case of "anyone who isn't the player becomes a bad guy the instant someone or something suggests it would be a good idea to become a bad guy." It's just lazy. Why even have a character heel-turn when they have no character motivation for doing so, and therefore no reason I should give a damn?

Not to mention since they'll be removing the Legendary questlines in WoD when Legion goes live, anyone who didn't get the legendary will have even less reason to care.

Because they apparently can't just get rid of the Legendary rewards without ripping out the entire storylines that go with them.

I believe the point was to show how powerful the orb was by it being able to corrupt the POLICE OFFICER TRAINED AT NOT BEING CORRUPTED BY THIS STUFF which is ok.

Sadly since we dont play as Cordanna, it comes off as a super duper asspull. She really needed one of those short stories/LoW videos.
