On that, we're in agreement. I'm just not particularly comfortable with the implications that come with hypothetical undead-Vol'jin coming back to rule the Darkspear.

Makes sense for a faction of zombies, less so for a bunch of living creatures.

What if the way he comes back does not make him a zombie Vol'jin?

He doesn't have to be a zombie. I said that just because. Look at all the trolls who keep coming back, like the guys in Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman. I was thinking of a "coming back" that leans more in that kind of direction.

They didn't answer the question about Karazhan (which is patch 7.1). They wouldn't have answered Naisha considering it is a Tomb of Sargeras matter (far far ahead in the end-game raids near the end of Legion.

I should have asked if they'll touch up on spellcasting animations like they did with melee animations. Would like to see animations that actually involve using the weapon.

Thing is though, I think they actually would've answered it

Unlike, say, the darkspear leader question, "oh, we have plans for that" *is* a very definite answer. Something as simple as "don't worry, we haven't forgotten her" spoils basically nothing- but because after the Illidan novel/ToS audio books it would appear Naisha's been forgotten, not only would a "she's still remembered" be a pretty positive answer, but if she hadn't, then it would've been a boot up the arse for them to put her in. And she's minor enough that Blizzard wouldn't need a PR answer about it- they actually can just go "she doesn't exist. Because that would make Illidan look bad"

"What's Naisha going to do" would, obviously, not have been answered, and I did overstuff the question, so the core "Does she still exist" question, and the "hint hint, put her in" inference was lost (partly because I wanted to hint at how they might explain previous lack of mention). And that's on my end

Still though, while I really outta tweet it to someone at Blizzard, mind keeping the question in your back pocket for a later interview?

I'm honestly wondering if there's any tactful way to ask at Blizzcon if Naisha and Maiev were lesbian lovers or not. Someone asked if Overwatch had gay characters last year and that went over pretty well but it may be a bit weird to say especially if Naisha isn't mentioned at all in Legion.

Simple- Ask how close they were. If you get a straight answer that doesn't say they were lovers, they weren't. If you get a straight answer that they were, they were. Get a not so straight answer that doesn't say they were, and they probably were, but Blizzard doesn't want to reveal/state it just yet. Get a not so straight answer that they were, then fuck...

(Also, from some of your forum posts I think from around the time of your Internship, I think you suggested that, at the very least, Blizzard were aware of it/made it a bit of an internal joke?)

Sadly though, at this point I wouldn't be surprised if Naisha had been written out of the story A) Because that was something bad Illidan did and B) Because they want to set Maiev and Illidan up.

Honestly, I was expecting them to drop hints about it in the Illidan novel given half of that is from Maiev's POV.

Not a single word about Naisha as I recall, or certainly nothing to suggest they were lovers.

It's firmly fanwank at this point IMO.

But enough about the Illidan novel, what about Maiev and Naisha?

A character is upset that their friend/colleague died, therefore they were definitely nailing one another.

Night Elf Icon (War3)

Considering that Califax, not Naisha, was her favourite, many a dryad was born to Maiev.

The only ship I sail is Thassarian/Koltira which is pretty much canon at this point anyway.

We just need an entire expansion of the Four Horsemen going on adventures.

I always found it weird how some people seem to think that two characters can not be close to eachother without having a sexual/romantical feelings for eachother, regardless of gender.

I know it's going to be considered complete heresy but that's what I think when people bring up ThassarianxKoltira. They've always seemed more like brothers (in death) to me.
