Too bad that Thassarian isn't a horseman.

Honestly, I don't even think the characters have that great chemistry, but I really think we should see more lesbians and bisexuals in night elf society considering how gender stratified it was. With all the men sleeping, the women really would've logically turned to eachother for companionship, and I think that Maiev and Naisha had the closest relationship of any two female elves in WCIII.

Isn't all the men a gross exaggeration?

To be honest, I think that the effects of the druids vigil were negligible.

Not all men were Druids. Not all men were druids. Not all men were Druids.

If y'all want gay/bi characters then cool. I expect Druids to be homoerotic in the Dream, but stop spreading that fanon.

Too bad I didnt see this before, because I had one question:

Have we seen the last of the dead heroes? Specifically Varian and Vol'Jin.

Considering we have storylines in warrior heavens and warrior hell, I tought.... maybe... you know >_>

I dont know, it would be awesome watching them help from beyond the grave

I don't think they would have answered. If you missed the PAX West panel, someone asked during the Q&A if it was the last we saw of Vol'jin.

The developers froze. Their attitude looked suspiscious. Luis Barriga even said "Spoilers!" but decided not to comment.

I'm currently working on a transcript (ETA Monday, Sept 5). Video here:

I don't think we've seen the last of Vol'jin but I definitely think Varian is gone.

I could, however, see his soul shoved into some sort of mechanica or him appearing as a spirit for ten seconds to tell Anduin how "proud he is." I'd rather that didn't happen, but meh, this is Blizzard.

I am not too certain Varian is gone.

1. Gul'dan might have captured his soul. He's a warlock. That's what he does. We saw what the Lich King did to Saurfang, Jr. and we freed his soul in the raid encounter.

On another note, this AU-Gul'dan has never raised the first Death Knight. Dun-dun-dun...

2. There is also ... the Halls of Valor, where the greatest warrior souls are claimed by Odyn. When the Warrior player fights in the Broken Shore, Odyn sends a valkyr to collect your almost-dead body and brings you to the Halls of Valor. Hopefully, Varian's soul is claimed there -- considering we become pals with Odyn.

3. If Gul'dan captured Varian's soul, he could gift Kil'jaeden the soul to torment it. Maybe send Varian as the new Varian the Lich King vs Bolvar the Lich King (next expansion).

Varian's return might come in many different ways. His body, however is gone.
