Default 28 days of the dead

This is something I've been thinking of writing for quite a while; a fan-fiction in the form of a journal.

The story told is being written down by a tauren druid named Brug Wildmane. Those reading will follow him through twenty-eight days, where he is doing what he can to fight back the evil that has taken over Azeroth.

Day #28

Quote:
The sky has turned blue again, and the thick mist is clearing. Once again the Earthmother shines upon us with her right eye, An'she. A spark of light fills my heart again, and I feel hope. But there will be one part of my heart that will never be filled with joy ever again... Too many of my brothers and sisters have fell, and some of them fell by my hand.
I don't know how many have died, nor how many survived the past weeks, but I know that Azeroth will never be the same. For the first time in four weeks I can see the horizon, but I don't know if I have the energy to walk towards it. The wound across my chest is slowly draining me of all my energy, and of all life. My vision starting to blurr, and the warmth of An'she is not as satisfying as it should be.

If you read this journal, I am most likely lying dead beside it. Tell the Warchief I did my best.

Pawene ichnee pawene.

Brug Wildmane.
Day #1

Quote:
Me and my fellow druids have long felt something is upon us. Something horrifying. The shamans says the same. The past few days that feeling has been growing inside all of our souls. A description of this feeling is too deep and dark to scribble down on paper. It can only be described in the language of our souls...

This morning An'she was supposed to rise and shine upon the great plains of Mulgore, but there was no dawn. The sky remains dark, just as the feelings in my heart and soul. My connection with the earth has been decreased, and I can no longer change my physical form to the that of the claw. The balance of Azeroth's nature has been severely disrupted, and I can do nothing about it. The forces of nature does no longer obey me. I must make my way to Moonglade to consult with the rest of the druids.
Day #2

Quote:
The sky remains dark, and I have an eerie feeling something horrifying is about to happen. The wyverns of Thunder Bluff has taken flight, and hasn't returned yet. I'm afraid they've fled to their homes in Stonetalon. The rest of the local wildlife is starting to get aggressive. Travelers arriving here in Thunder Bluff says they have been attacked and chased by lions and tallstriders. I must be cautious when I travel north.
The druids and shamans of Thunder Bluff had a meeting last night to discuss these phenomena. All the druids and shamans has lost their powers. We are traveling to Orgrimmar as soon as Cairne gives us permission to leave.
Day #3

Quote:
All the druids and shamans of Thunder Bluff has begun to walk towards Orgrimmar, and we are currently resting in the Crossroads. We have encountered several ferocious animals, but none has fallen victim to their rage yet. The stable master in Camp Taurajo told us earlier this day that all of his tamed animals ran away the day An'she disappeared. The same goes for the stable master here in the Crossroads.
Many of those who reside in the Crossroads have started traveling towards Orgrimmar to take refuge. This settlement is under constant raids from centaurs and the local wildlife. I am not sure if we will be able to stay all night, but we are doing our best the aid the guards.
Day #4

Quote:
I woke up early this morning. Or at least I think it was early. It's getting harder and harder to tell what time it is.

The walls of the Crossroads still stands, but only barely. Three druids died last night, when they were keeping watch at the south gate. The wounds on their bodies are not caused by any creature residing in the Barrens, and nobody can imagine what ruthless monster has done it. Their heads had been removed, and their bodies were severely mangled.
We took their remains inside the walls and gave them a proper burial.

Nobody in the Crossroads think the walls will stand for another night, so we all decided to abandon the settlement to continue walking towards Orgrimmar.

When we arrived in Razor Hill in Durotar, our numbers had decreased. On our way here we were attacked by all kinds of creatures. Raptors, lions and even quilboar. The rage in their eyes was horrifying to see. They fought until their last drop of blood had left their bodies. There was something else attacking us aswell... The headless bodies of our fallen friends came from behind, together with a number of other mangled orcs and tauren. They were the walking dead.

Razor Hill has been abandoned, and an eerie feeling is filling my soul.

I pray this night to the Earthmother, but it feels as if she has turned away from me... I hope she will stand by us when we make our last walk to the orc's capital.

Day #6

Quote:
When we walked through the ravine between Razor Hill and Orgrimmar we didn't see more than six feet in front of us. We were almost completely blind. It was easier than we had prepared ourselves for, and we made it to Orgrimmar unharmed.

Here we are now, and as I write this Hamuul Runetotem is inside the Warchief's chamber. The shamans of Thunder Bluff are represented by Tigor Skychaser. Nobody outside knows anything about what is going on inside the chamber, but we are sure that they are planning a way of defending ourselves against the raging wildlife... and the walking dead.

The city has been heavily fortified, and the gates open only if they absolutely must. Refugees from Durotar, Dustwallow Marsh, Ashenvale and the rest of the northern parts of Kalimdor are arriving, and all of them tell the same story: The sky turned dark, and their animals turned against them or ran away. On the way most of them had casualties, and they had encountered the walking corpses of their fallen bretheren.

Now all I can do is wait for further instructions, and pray for An'she to rise once again...

Day #7

Quote:
Today the Warchief held a speech. The meeting between him, Hamuul, Tigor and a number of other members of the Horde hadn't ended until this morning, and they had decided what has to be done.
The Warchief said that the undead we encountered can't be affiliated with the Scourge, because the Lich King has been defeated just a few weeks before the darkness. These undead have a different master. The reason for the sun's death has not been discovered, but the shamans of Orgrimmar, accompanied with those of Thunder Bluff will together work to find out.

In the speech he told us to stick together as good as we could, and avoid wandering away from Orgrimmar. He then turned away from the crowd and walked back to his chamber. The shamans followed him.

Hamuul came up to me and the other druids and said we had a mission. We had to walk to Moonglade and speak with Remulos and the night elves. We would be accompanied with a squadron of Kor'kron guards.

We will leave before night comes upon us... Not as if it would matter. This last week has been shrouded by darkness, and night does not separate from day. Now I must go to the Hall of the Brave to chose a melee-weapon, aswell as an armor.
Day #8

Quote:
We have walked for hours and hours... The armor and the mace I'm carrying is getting heavier and heavier. A great mist has been following us since we left Orgrimmar, and we are now about to enter Felwood. I am afraid the mist will catch up with us as we sleep, and swallow us all.
We haven't encountered any more undead, but we are constantly under attack from ravaging bears and wolves. Good thing the Warchief decided to let a few orcs come with us. If he hadn't I'm not sure if we would be alive now. None of us druids are especially good fighters without our druidic magic...

We have made camp just at the outskirts of Felwood, and we will spend the night here.
Day #9

Quote:
I haven't slept at all this night... At first I had to stand guard at the edges of our camp, and when my old friend Gorm was about to take my shift we were attacked by night elves. They came from Ashenvale and a wave of arrows rained down upon us. Nobody got killed. Not even any of the elves. It didn't take long before they realized we weren't undead. They showed no more hostility and walked towards us. There were druids among them. They were on their way to Moonglade just as us, so we decided to call it a truce and travel side by side.

We have been walking all day now, and we just reached Irontree Woods. We have decided to make camp here. Me and Gorm will try and speak with the night elves, and see if they know anything we don't know yet. The elves keep quiet most of the time... They spend more time listening to the surrounding world than us tauren and orcs do. Whether or not their silence has to do with the history elves have with the orcs or not remains unwritten at the moment.

I hope I will get some sleep this night...

Day #10

Quote:
I woke up without hearing screams or combat around me for once... It feels as if it was years ago since I last saw the light of day. Time seems to move more slowly when it's all dark... Half of the time I drift into dark thoughts, and I hope this is some kind of horrible nightmare, but then I snap back to reality... The dark reality...

Last night when me and Gorm spoke to the elves we learned that this day had been written down in the ancient books of the elves. They called it "Shala-xaxas". The shadow's rage. Talaeria Duskleaf, the elf in command of the archers told us their leader had sent them to Moonglade to meet with Remulos, much like Warchief Thrall told us. We didn't learn how to reverse this dire event, but she hoped Remulos would know.

We got back on the move just after we'd eaten, and we had to prepare ourselves for combat when we came to Timbermaw Hold, but there were no furbolgs inside, or at it's surroundings. There was however alot of blood, and dead wolves and bears in the wilderness around the entrance. There had been a battle between the furbolgs and the wild animals. Nobody had any idea where the furbolgs had went.

As I write this we are taking a small brake inside the furbolg's cave. They had left behind food and fresh water, which we now feast upon. We will be in Moonglade before tomorrow.

Day #11

Quote:
We arrived in Moonglade yesterday evening, and as soon as we entered we were greeted by Loganaar. He told us we had to rest and regain our energies.

Most of us woke up early and gathered in Nighthaven. The archers and Kor'kron guards would stay behind in the town while us druids went to see Remulos. When we came to him he had been notified of our presence and asked us to sit down. He told us a chosen few of us had to travel to Hyjal Summit. We would have to break through the mystic wall Malfurion Stormrage had summoned, and make our way to the World Tree to mend it's wounds. Once we had broken through the protective wall we would have our druidic powers back.
Only the druids would be able to pass through the magic wall, thus leaving the archers and Kor'krons behind. They were going to escort us to Darkwhisper Gorge in Winterspring, and then keep guard outside until we returned.

In Moonglade our powers are stronger than on the oustide. I can take the form of the claw again, and my friend Gorm can use his magics for healing. I fear that once we leave Moonglade our powers will be drained again... That will be soon. Too soon.

Day #12

Quote:
This morning a few chosen druids and all of the archers and Kor'krons left to go to Winterspring. I was among the chosen ones, but Gorm was told to stay behind. His task was not to mend the World Tree. It feels sorrowsome to not know if I will see him again.

The Timbermaw tunnel was just as empty as last time we passed through. The mist was lying thick inside it. When we reached the end of the tunnel a chill raced down my spine. We stood at the exit and looked upon the cold and barren landscape of Winterspring. The snow made it possible to see further than any of us had seen in days. It almost felt as if the sun was about to pass through a couple of clouds and shine down upon us. It didn't.

We exited the tunnel and walked slowly across the frozen land. The wind was agonizing. It numbed the senses, and we walked slower and slower for every minute. It would take several hours just to reach the goblin city of Everlook. We weren't even sure if there would be anyone there, or if they would be alive.

The only positive thing about the walk to Everlook was that we weren't attacked by anything. The landscape was dreadfully barren.

We were frozen to the core when we entered the gates of Everlook. The city had been abandoned, just like the rest of Winterspring. We took refuge inside the houses, and made a big bonfire in the middle of the city. The warmth felt divine.

Now I sit in one of the houses together with three elves. They aren't exactly the most social elves, but I have a happy feeling that I'm not alone in frozen hell.
Day #13

Quote:
The gates became under attack of hundreds of undead goblins and night elves in the middle of the night. They punched their hands bloody on the gate and walls surrounding the city. They were screaming aswell... It sounded horrific. Their eyes were red, just like the blood on the walls. Some of them had missing limbs. The Kor'kron guards jumped down from the walls to fight them back, but they were outnumbered five to one. All of them died a horrifying death... They were beaten senseless by the undead, then eaten alive.

What had attracted the horde of living dead, or why we hadn't seen any of them last night was beyond our knowledge. We only knew we had to take them out, and take off to Hyjal as fast as we could.
The elven archers unleashed their arrows upon the army of zombies. It took hours to take out all of them...

Now we are on the run. Without the Kor'kron guards we are extremely exposed, and we couldn't take out an army in hand-to-hand combat. We have to reach Darkwhisper Gorge before we rest, or else we will surely die.
Day #14

Quote:
We were attacked in the middle of the night by the living dead... At the moment we are taking a small break to catch our breath... I don't have much time to write this, so I must keep it short.

The undead attacked us when we were running over the Frostwhisper Gorge. We managed to fend them off... There weren't more than a dussin of them. None of us were harmed. We will enter Darkwhisper Gorge in a few minutes, when we've all rested.
From what I've learned Darkwhisper Gorge is some kind of maze... I hope we will manage to navigate our way through it without too much problems.
Day #15

Quote:
The Darkwhisper Gorge is much more terrifying than anything I've ever wandered through before... The absence of An'she made it damn near impossible to see anything. On top of all the darkness there is the horrible fog.

There weren't any demons in the gorge, and the undead hasn't found us yet. At the moment us druids are trying to figure out how to pass through the barrier Malfurion has set up. I think we will have to combine all of our druidic powers to break the wall... The problem is our powers are weaker than ever before...

Archers will stand guard outside of Hyjal while us druids go in and do what we have to do... I just don't know how mending the World Tree will bring back the light of An'she. Only time will tell, I suppose...

I also think I'm starting to hallucinate because of all the darkness. I hear whispers in my head, and I see things before my eyes... Horrible things... I see my family running towards me with the rage of undeath in their eyes...
Day #16

Quote:
We broke through the wall last night, and we are inside Hyjal. It's wonderful to have my druidic powers back. A pleasent warmth is filling my soul.

Me and the rest of the druids ran together in the forms of cheetahs, and made it to the World Tree in just an hour. We have started to channel our healing powers to the small growing tree, but the sky remains black.

The whispers in my mind haven't stopped. I can almost make out what they say... They don't seem harmful, and I don't think I'm the only one who is experiencing this. I've heard other druids trying to figure out what they hear. Tonight I'll talk to one of the night elves and together with him figure out what they mean.
Until then we will continue to power the World Tree.

Day #17

Quote:
Once again I stand in the Darkwhisper Gorge... The mending of the Tree wasn't a mission we were suppose to complete. It was merely another step on the stairs towards our goal.

I spoke to the night elf named Mathrengyl Bearwalker. Together we realized the whispers we heard in our heads were the words of Malfurion Stormrage.

"Find the sacred place of the Light. Across the sea, in the forsaken Plaguelands you will find what you seek. That is where balance will be restored."... We heard these words repeatedly. All of us did.

We must travel east, across the great ocean, to the Plaguelands. Our only hope of succeeding is going to Orgrimmar to take zeppelins towards the Eastern Kingdoms. The travel to Orgrimmar frightens me. That means we will have to go back towards Everlook...

My prayers to the Earthmother remains unanswered, but it feels as if I leave Hyjal with hope... Something I haven't felt in weeks.
Day #18

Quote:
We have traveled all night, without stopping. We made it past Everlook without seeing any of the living dead. But when we passed the frozen lake at the ruins of Kel'Theril they came. We tried to outrun them, but we quickly realized that would be impossible.
They undead were thirty man strong, and there were merely fiveteen of us. I saw Gorm among them. He had the fury of the undead in his eyes, but I silenced his anger... We lost many good men and women this night... There are four of us left. It's me, the archer's leader Telaeria, a night elf druid whos name I don't know, and Mathrengyl, the druid I spoke with in Hyjal.

We made it to the Timbermaw tunnel after we had defeated the undead. The tunnel towards Moonglade has collapsed, so the only way we can go is to Felwood. I don't know if we will sleep this night either. There will be alot of running I guess...

Day #19

Quote:
I don't have much time to write... We are followed. They came tonight aswell. The druid, whos name I don't know, was killed earlier... We have reached Ashenvale, and now we will run to Orgrimmar without rest.

I have to stop now... The dead are closing in on us.

Day #20

Quote:
I'm exhausted... Me, Telaeria and Mathrengyl have been running all night. We reached Orgrimmar, and the guards let us in when I explained our purpose. I was surpriced to see night elves and draenei inside Orgrimmar... Apparently the Warchief had let them enter when they came to seek protection.

I've spoken to Thrall and I explained that me, Telaeria and Mathrengyl needed a zeppelin to make our way east to find a way to end this eternal darkness. He gave us permission to go, and he also shared some news. The shamans hadn't been able to find the source of the darkness, and neither had anyone else. The situation was the same in the Eastern Kingdoms... The dwarves have isolated themselves inside their mountain and Stormwind has closed it's gates... The same goes for Silvermoon City. The only city that has been left alone is Undercity, home of the Forsaken.

I am on a zeppelin now together with Telaeria and Mathrengyl. We are somewhere over the Great Sea... The goblins find it hard to navigate because of the mist. They say we will reach Tirisfal Glade in a couple of hours if nothing goes wrong...
Day #21

Quote:
We flew into a storm in the middle of the night... At least I think it was in the middle of the night.

The zeppelin flew off course, and we crashed into an excavation site. The night elves think this might the Wetlands. I have never been here before, but I know we must go north to reach the Plaguelands. A couple of goblins died in the crash, and another couple of them ran off after they'd woken up... There's only me, Telaeria, Mathrengyl and a goblin named Fairweather left. He was the navigator on the zeppelin, and he's he is trying to repair the flying ship. I'm doing everything I can to help, but I don't think we will be able to take off again...

Only time will tell if we will make it to the Plaguelands on this ship.

Telaeria and Mathrengyl told me earlier they have visited Wetlands before, and they should be able to find the way to the Thandol Span from where we are now. Once we reach Thandol Span we will have to continue walking north towards Hillsbrad Foothills, and from there make our way along the river towards Caer Darrow and the Plaguelands.

Now I have to go back and help Fairweather repair the zeppelin.

Day #22

Quote:
The zeppelin can't be repaired... After working for several hours last night, me and Fairweather realized we had to give it up... Our party of four are now wandering around in the Wetlands, and we are trying to find our way to the Thandol Span.

The thick mist and the darkness is making it impossible for us to navigate. Telaeria and Mathrengyl can't find the way through all the rivers and lakes. We are lost, and I'm not sure if we will ever make it to the Plaguelands...
Wetlands has turned into a pitch black maze of rivers and creeks. We are constantly under attack by raptors and crocolisks, but we haven't seen any undead yet. I have found that I am more skilled when it comes to melee combat than ever before. Mathrengyl and me have learned to fight without our druidic powers.

I hope the Earthmother will show us the way through the Wetlands.

Day #23

Quote:
This endless walk has proven to be tiresome... Half of the time we have water up to our waists, and we can't see anything...

The darkness shows no sign of disappearing either.

At least the misery of the Wetlands brings a little positive things... We haven't seen the undead since we entered Orgrimmar a few days ago, but I have a feeling they will find us in the end.

We are taking a rest on a small hill at the moment. Fairweather is having a difficult time going through the water some times... He is short, and the water is deep.
Day #24

Quote:
Last night we found something the night elves called "Ironbeard's Tomb". It helped Telaeria and Mathrengyl navigate, and we found the Thandol Span after a few hours. We passed it without any problems, and we found the path to Hillsbrad.

While walking north we could hear screams around us... It was the gutteral screams of the undead. It sounded like they were in combat with the local wildlife... The screeches of the raptors was ringing through the darkness... We ran as fast as we could to get as far away from the undead as possible.

We are currently hiding out in the Refuge Pointe, an abandoned Alliance-encampment. There is blood on the ground here, and I fear the inhabitants of this place has turned undead.

Now I must sleep... The last time I slept was when I was on the zeppelin...

Day #25

Quote:
We were attacked when we were sleeping... Both raptors and undead came running into the ravine... One of the raptors tore it's claws onto my chest... We managed to get away, but only barely...

Fairweather was bitten by a zombie, and his eyes turned red within a few minutes... I had to take his life...

Me, Telaeria and Mathrengyl ran to Stromgarde Keep. That is where we are currently hiding... We are inside the fortress, and we have barricaded the doors... I can hear the undead walking around outside...

Telaeria says she has to go out tonight and find herbs to mend my wounds. I pray to the Earthmother that she will make it back alive.
Day #26

Quote:
I feel weaker. Me and Mathrengyl has been reinforcing the barricade all night. Old pieces of cloth serve as bandage across my chest, but they get drenched in blood after a few hours...

I hope Telaeria returns soon... Mathrengyl says he will go out and look for her if she hasn't returned in a few hours...

Day #27

Quote:
Mathrengyl left last night, but returned after only a few minutes... On his arm I could see a wound... I tried to treat it, but as I wrapped bandages around him he tried to attack me... He had turned undead. We struggled for several minutes... The loss of blood has made me weaker, but I was able to kill him... I buried him in the cellar...

I feel weaker than ever now, and I can hear the living dead scratching and beating on the barricade... Before I go to sleep tonight I will make my way to the towers of the fortress. If the zombies break through the doors I want to see the sky when I take my last breath...

Tonight I will pray for Telaeria... I hope she realized I was beyond rescue, and went to the Plaguelands instead... I would hate it if she died because of me...

Nechi ich towateke ki hale chi, Telaeria... You will forever be remembered as my sister in arms.

A waterlogged letter
Quote:
Dear Delilah.

The darkness that has engulfed the world has started to find it's way into my heart and soul. We have been on seas for weeks, and the captain does not know where we are, or where we are heading. The dreams I have about you are dark, and they do not seem to become more joyful.

I curse myself for getting on this ship. I wish I had never left Theramore. I should have listened to you, and I hope you can forgive me if we will ever stand face to face again.

The elite soldiers that we were to escort are trying to keep their mission a secret, but I've heard enough to know they are supposed to travel to the plaguelands in Lordaeron. They aren't as quiet as they should be.

I hope we will reach Southshore soon, because I don't think I can live much longer on this ship. If I won't survive this I want you to know I've always loved you, and always will.

May the light be with you, Delilah.

Yours
Thomas

A Letter to the King
Quote:
To King Magni Bronzebeard

Yer highness, me and the rest of my crew has made it to Caer Darrow. The way here has been troublesome. Today is the 26th day since the sun decided not to shine. There aren't many of us left. But we've also met some new blood; a night elf. She tells us she's been travelin' fer weeks with a couple of druids, and that they were headin' fer the Chapel.

We have offered her to make the rest of the travel with us, but she seems exhausted. She says she has been searchin' fer some herb to mend her friend's wounds, but she got lost and ended up all the way here. She has been runnin' all night.

We haven't encountered any living dead fer a couple o' days, but I believe they will find us soon enough... We have lost alot of good men, and I feel sad for their families.

If everything goes as planned we will be back in Ironforge in a week. We will see if the Wildhammers are kind enough to lend us some gryphons...

I'm sendin' this letter with our finest sprinter, Beldur Stormpike.

Grand Explorer Falwald Stormhammer

Vyral's Memorandum

Quote:
The ancient scripture.

1st entry
Deep within the qiraji caverns we have found ancient scriptures in a language we do not understand. The scriptures seems to predate any documentation we've found so far. Deciphering it will without a doubt be troublesome, if not impossible.
I believe it might be written in ancient qiraji, or maybe even ancient zandali. I will see to it that we manage to figure it out before the waking of C'thun.

2nd entry
None of the scholars know what language it is, and none of the trolls in the clan recognize it as zandali. It seems I will have to speak with the qiraji about this, and find out if they know anything. Maybe the document is so old that none can understand it...

3rd entry
I have sought audience with the Prophet Skeram. I was told that if anyone in Ahn'Qiraj would know anything about ancient scriptures, it would be Skeram.

4th entry
I have given Skeram the tablets, and he will examine them. Whether or not he will be successful is beyond my knowledge at the time, but I have faith in him.

5th entry
Once again I have the ancient tablets in my possession. The Prophet was unable to translate them, but he did tell me what language they were written in. There is only a handful of people today who can read it, and translate it.
The scriptures were written by the ancient trolls of the Zandalar tribe. I have heard that a troll by the name of Al'tabim masters the ancient tongue... I will send a group of trustworthy cultist to kidnap him, and bring him back to the Twilight's Run.

<The rest of the entries has been torn away from the momorandum>

Ancient Tablets

Quote:
<the text is roughly translated to common>

Kaz'rohk

When the second leader of the tribes of undeath falls, and the third leader steps in his place, darkness will engulf the skies. The dead will no longer find rest in their tombs. Mueh'zala will wake them from their sleep, and Samedi will set them free once more.

The moons will block the rays of the new sunrising, and so it will continue until they have found their way around Azeroth.

<untranslatable part>

Ji'ro drak'tulav. Mizju mojo zildra k'resha. Kaz'rohk jor'tex, sha k'resha.
Jo Samedi sha darek zandal tuvak'tulas. Kaz'rohk sha Zul'zandali, Zuldazar.

<roughly translated to common>

There is no way to prevent Kaz'rohk.
There is no way to end Kaz'rohk.
There is only endurance and survival.

That which has a beginning, must have an end. All that is bright, must become dark.
But that which ends must also begin once again, and darkness must turn to light.

A Letter to Cho'gall

Quote:
The prophecies written on the tablets seems to be true. The Lich King has attacked both Stormwind and Orgrimmar, and the Alliance and the Horde are gathering their forces. The fall of the Lich King draws nearer.

Gerrig Bonegrip in Ironforge tells me he has information about an Old God in the northern wastes aswell. It would be wise to send a few men there to investigate this matter.

Your trusted acolyte,
Zaruk

Cho'gall's Orders

Quote:
Jedoga Shadowseeker, you have proven yourself worthy of leading an expedition to the northern wastes of Azeroth. Once there you will begin seeking for the Old God of death, Yogg-Saron.

Meanwhile in Silithus the rest of the Twilight's Hammer will resurrect C'thun and prepare to attack the major settlements and towns of the Horde and Alliance during the dark eclipse.

You will disguise yourselves as members of the Horde and Alliance and get on their ships and zeppelins to Northrend, and when you've arrived you will break away from them and begin your search.

Go forth to victory, in the name of the Twilight's Hammer.

Chieftain Cho'gall of the Twilight's Hammer Clan.

The trick is to find a style of writing you are comfortable with. Writing as a log doesn't give that much freedom, dialogue or detail of environment.

When I write this I try to feel what the main character feels, and imagine myself in his situation (although that's kind of hard).

#13 - #15 is in the first post now.

I wont have that much time to write any more this weekend, so you'll have to sit tight until sunday or something.

Just read it, and liked it. Very suspenseful and horrifying, though the characters seem to traverse the world awfully fast.

@everybody else: Thanks for the kind words. It's appritiated alot.

Day #21 - #23 is in the first post.

That means there is only four days left 'til day #28. Will they make it to Light's Hope Chapel? How will they put an end to the, seemingly, eternal darkness? What (or who) will lethally wound Brug?

I thought "the sacred place of the Light. Across the sea, in the forsaken Plaguelands" was obviously Light's Hope Chapel. I suppose I was wrong.

Day #26 and #27 has been released, and that means the journal of Brug has come to an end.

There are some questions that are still unanswered, but I'll see if I can work on that. Maybe write a journal about someone else, or just write a short-story.

The first post has been updated with a document found on a beach.

Tragic, isn't it?

I might continue on this Thomas-guy's adventures, or I'll make a library of documents that explains the fenomena and how it's solved.

Thank you! ;D

You should be able to travel in time to see how the story ends, right?
