I mean, of course, they had to, because the Pandaren were Samwise's babies... and fuck if Samwise is going to let Pandaren be Alliance-only, no matter how much sense it makes lore-wise.

You've just cited another example of how Blizzard's Horde bias fucked up something else.

The Horde could have gotten the Hozen, or even the Mogu, as a playable race and a believable counter to the Pandaren. Think about this:

Had Blizzard made the Pandaren an Alliance-only race (as they should have), then the Horde bias argument is moot. The entire MoP expansion is centered on a new Alliance race - and even with so much focus on the trolls and orcs, there's enough Alliance fanservice happening to keep things on an even keel.

But fucktard manchildren like Samwise can't let that happen, can they?
Or they could have written the Horde better.

This belongs in the faction thread for sure.
Let me just say that ad hominem ranting about the people responsible doesn't really help your case.

Also, let's simply conveniently forget the fact that the players in the Horde are playing with Vol'jin, Thrall and co, not Garrosh and his True Horde.

The weird thing about Pandaren was that the two "factions" never really mattered anyway. It was a ton of wasted ideas and a wasted zone that was really cool that ultimately went nowhere and never mattered. I don't see what the point was in introducing it if they weren't going to do anything with those Pandaren again?

I think that's sort of the point. They could have written BOTH factions better.

As it stands, there's absolutely no sense, no balance, and no logic to the story.

One could certainly make that point, but I doubt it has had much of an impact on the subscription development.

I'd wager the majority of players could care less about the lore. All they care about is if that monster they are beating over the head drops phat loot.

Do you think The Thunderlord clan annihilated The Lightning's Blade clan? I saw a banner with a sword... and that one was typically from The Lightning's Blade clan.

Thanks.

I'd disagree, and say that while most players CERTAINLY care less about the lore than we nerds do, it's still a pretty big factor for them, even if not down to reading every piece of quest text, because one of the few things WoW is legitimately good at is giving you at least a basic understanding of what's going on regardless of you reading.

I would even further argue that there is likely a very large group of players who DO know and read the lore, but don't get it from in game, instead going off of wowhead and such, because it's all handy in one location.

God I wish we could like have a choice in what games we played or something. Maybe if there were other video games out there , we wouldn't be stuck here being so angry about this one, and the people who liked this game wouldn't feel so bad for liking it.

That is a dumb statement.

I often feel bad for enjoying this game sometimes on here especially when it means talking about the upcoming expansion or lore is rare. Not to mention when people do they just have to trash it at the same time or have random arguments with people who are in fact looking forward to WoD. This stuff you cannot dodge believe me i have tried but the second someone gets a little upset about something here they just have to spread it everywhere even in subjects unrelated to Warcraft or Blizzard.

Can't tell if troll or not intelligent enough to understand basic human psychology and conditioning...

Lol I promise you I could find something you like, get a few other people together and come ruin the shit out of it for you. There's a type of person who would be immune to such things, but considering your reply, you're not one if them either.

Ah crap. I bit.

Seriously? Are you that influenced by peer pressure?

Ohh well. Like what you like. Fuck everyone else.

Also, have fun with trying. You'll fail, but hey.

Nobody will ever agree 100% on something.

On ANYTHING.

If your enjoyment of something depends on everyone agreeing / praising it, then you are doing Wow (and life) the wrong way. WoW insider is more like what you want, where you like and love WoW or else.

It's impressive how you utterly misunderstood his post, or didn't want to understand it.
