![]() It's not lore, hell it's barely even Blizzard, but it's most certainly a form of fan appreciation. With the new Pandaren racials now known, and their legendary love of that brewdoo that they do, it's time to populate the world of Azeroth with some serious cookery.
So for those folks who want to, whip up real life recipes inspired by Azeroth (its cultures and beyond). What does Kodo Stew taste like? What about Dragonbreath Chili? Microbrewers out there, give it a whirl too, from heady Rums to what you think Chen's secret stouts taste like. Hell, make something up yourself (maybe we'll see it in-game someday). If you make it in your own kitchen, not only should you drop the ingredient list here, but give us some pictures too. And if you want a starter recipe...how about an old favorite from a very evil little imp? |

![]() A while back I had an idea to make some fantasy recipes. I had a great idea to use alligator meat (which I know a guy down in Chinatown for) as dragon meat.

![]() A key aspect of this is to find real world parallels for ingredient items.
But really, what kind of tuber is a "Runn Tum Tuber"? I don't think that it is real... Would the icon be used to tell? Would the soup's icon be?

![]() I'm guessing it's a potato or maybe a turnip.

![]() I think a combination of parsnips and sweet potatoes would make the best Runn Tums to make a flavor profile that is not just parsnips or sweet p's. Other ingredients would be things likely to grow around Dire Maul and Feralas in general. Jungle fare. Now would they be boiled, fried, roasted, baked or something else? Chopped up, whole, pureed, mashed?
@Omacron - If you want good Alligator meat you gotta head to the Gulf Coast. Don't trust your Chinatown man with his dubious sources. ![]()
