It's also possible that CDev could choose to retcon Svalna and other Scourge-created val'kyr as "not-true-val'kyr". We just haven't heard any commentary on that yet because Scourge-created val'kyr haven't been relevant for awhile.

![]() Well, I never really expected the Second War to have touched Stratholme since Of Blood and Honor said it didn't, and since the city's destruction is such a pivotal part of Arthas's narrative in Warcraft III. Here's the relevant tweet anyway:
My "scheme" was to call the question in his mind now, so that hopefully Chronicle III will mention whether Stratholme was ever touched before the Culling. We'll see if it works. I mean... it's possible. Ever since WCIII I imagined that a huge part of the Culling was Arthas slaughtering an "unblemished lamb" of a major city, which would make its survival during the Second War be paramount to Arthas's characterization. I suppose it could also work if the city had been rebuilt during the decade and a half between the Second and Third Wars, larger and grander than it had been before the Horde razed it. If it had become a sort of icon to the Alliance's tenacity and a sign of its new age of prosperity, its ability to recover from anything... then the city's Culling would still have significance as a pivotal moment. I guess we'll see. EDIT: I'm kidding. He'll just ask a Blizzard historian who of course will tell him Stratholme was untouched. Like every other city or town. Omacron, thanks again for Blackwood. When it comes to towns razed, Orgrim's Horde is tied with the Blackrock-and-Rolls, who definitely and decisively thrashed Strahnbrad. Because that is a vital part of canon. I have not drunk anything tonight, but I could sure go for a 100% fruit juice pouch. Last edited by BaronGrackle; 04-06-2017 at 01:32 AM.. |

![]() Yay...
I guess Trolls get a boost to lifespans now, so that's cool, I guess. I personally preferred them having shorter ones, but to each their own. |
