Orc Icon (War3)

Okay. Is everybody ready?

READY!

Excellent. Just a minute. Let me finish this...

?

(scribbling with a bleeding finger, mumbling as he writes) And then I turned to my minion wretches and proclaimed, "Quickly you fools..."

Master warlock? Aren't we in a hurry?

Silence! I'm almost finished. Ahem. (scribbling) "Quickly you fools--fan out and search for the primary passageway. We must reach the Chamber of the Eye before the tomb's guardians awaken."

Awaken?

Master warlock, do the tomb guardians even sleep? We sort of prepared for them to...

(scribbling) From the corner of my eye, I saw one of the weak-willed fools run in terror. I heroically turned and struck him down, firing a death bolt of pure awesome, because I am truly awesome, and that is how I roll. In fury I bellowed, "Spineless cowards! I said move!"

We're all right here, master warlock.

Hush! It's called drama, you uncultured pleb. Ahem. (scribbling) And then, in defiance of the daemonic powers that surely inhabit this bastion of despair, I screamed a challenge to Sargeras himself. "Now, Sargeras..." I began, the tomb's very walls trembling at my awe-inspiring tones of bass, "I will claim whatever's left of your power--and... and..." Hmm, what's a good way to finish that?

(aside) He's not going to keep this up if we get into an actual life-threatening battle, is he? If he gets stabbed, he's not going to be writing out something like "I screamed AARRRGGGHH and then I died," is he?

(aside) Don't be stupid.

Oh, I've got it! (scribbling) "I will claim whatever's left of your power--and bring this wretched world to its knees!"

Would you like us to go on ahead while you finish?

No, I'm done! Let's go.

Finally.

A FEW MINUTES LATER
~ ~ ~ ~ ~

STOP!

What's wrong?!

Is it another pit lord?!

(scribbling) Turning first to my left and then my right, I found that I was utterly alone. I cursed at the inadequacies of my frail and impotent underlings. "Blasted, feeble-minded weaklings! They're all likely dead by now!" I spoke with assured accuracy. However, I--the mighty and indomitable Gul'dan--was not dismayed! I was neither dismayed nor deterred nor denied, for I shall not be denied, by virtue of being darkness incarnate, which is the awesomeness that is Gul'dan.

Oh, cripes alive. Really? Is he really?

We're running out of time. Let's just snap his neck...

(scribbling) "That laughter... Is that you, Sargeras? You seek to mock me?"

ToD had Gul'dan literally write "I am dying" as he was dying. So there's precedent for my wild hyperbole!

You know, you can probably just throw your thoughts onto a wall in an instant with the right spell. That seems like the most logical truth.

If only we could tag individual posts. At least then icon theater would be easy to find.

The Alliance's three rules on faction conflict:
1) You can't win.
2) You can't break even.
3) You can't leave the game.

For those interested, I've put up my review of the Sentinel Campaign:

http://videogamestoryplotnarrativean...ii-frozen.html

While I think the character development could have been better, I still believe it was a better written campaign than the night elf campaign in RoC.

Blood Elf Campaign Review:

Sadly this campaign suffered from repeated lack of character development.

Cool reads, interesting to look into W3 with more depth!

Sorry guys I got sick and when I recovered I was in my busy week so it took me longer than usual to finish the review. But I've finally finished the review for the Scourge Campaign;

http://videogamestoryplotnarrativean...ii-frozen.html

It largely has the same flaws as the previous campaign but there are a couple of clever things in there that still make the campaign enjoyable.
