Post The sons of stone and iron

Hello People!

I have some doubts about the stone and iron seed races.

By doing the quests, it seams to me that, at the beggining, the titans created only the stone seed races (and after the races mutated by "the curse of flesh"). I think the iron ones (iron dwarves, iron vrykuls, iron giants(?)) were just created in recent times by Loken, using saronite. Is this true?

The frost giants(sons of hodir) seams made of flesh. I think they and the storm giants are the original stone giants (like Archavon) mutated by the curse into flesh. Is this right?

And about the other giants, like the mountain giants(friends of the night elves) and the outland ones: why didn't they get mutated by the curse of flesh? Are they the original giants or only sub-mineral-products created by the earthen and iron dwarves (we see some of them begin created in Halls of Stone) ?

Archavon - Is he a stone original giant, not mutated by the curse?

A lot of doubts about the original races.

Thanks for any help!

See you.

According to my knowledge of Warcraft Lore, yes, the Titans created the stone seed races in the beginning. After they left, the stone races became affected by the curse of the flesh. The Titans then created the Iron seed races. Those were basically version 2.0 of the stone races, and they are immune to the curse of the flesh.

As for the rest, I have no idea...

EDIT: By the way, welcome to the forums

The Titans also rebuilt new Stone Earthen, who you meet in the Storm Peaks. It's an odd place; you have the Earthen and the Iron dwarves, both evidence of the Titan's servant 2.0 project, but also the Frostborn Dwarves, who don't show any signs of being anything but blue dwarves, except they still revere Thorim.

Meh, the Old Gods'll eventually find a new way to infect the Iron races with the curse.

What'll the Titans think up next, a race of beings made of Rubber?

Behold the awesomeness of the Rubber Gnome!

They really don't need to. The Irons (Dwarf and Vrykul) already serve Loken, who is Yogg-Saron's pawn.

Darkmoon Card: Twisting Nether

The iron dwarves did get created from loken, not the titans. The titans made a earthen v2.0 which was immune against the curse. And I think that not all individual earthen and giants were affected by the curse^^

No, he's not. He is a watcher, a construct made by titans.

Sure? I thought all the watchers were something created by the titans.

Another questions arises in my mind: is a watcher made os stone or metal (gold, silver, iron, etc) ?

Can a watcher become infected by the curse of flesh? If yes, what will it become? Is there any mob in the game that has this background right now? (a infected watcher).

Watchers seem to be made of stone, but they don't happen to be "fleshed" even when in close proximity to Yogg, so they're probably made of the same earth that the Ulduar, CoF-resistant Earthen are made.

Only gold. Farmed chinese gold.

Anyway...

What's that about them being made of Saronite?

I thought they were just iron, but it makes sense. I'ts ironic, I asked many times for saronite constructs, and it could end them being made of saronite since the beggining.

LOL.

Uh, and yeah, Iron constructs are 100% Loken-made, but some of them could have been former stone, like those giants he's enslaving to transform them into iron giants.
