They are not the first orcs to have different skin in WoW. Different skin color may come from the clan, like in the case with the Blackrock Clan, they are nearly balck.

Also many Ogre tribes have same characteristic, there are blue, pink, red, black ogres. We can theorize that it is common treat of the humanoids from draenor, like they may have some super active pigment gene.

Maybe there will be a Dwarf who travels to The Broken Isles to study the local creatures and is burned by the Church of Stormwind for his "Crimes of finding out the truth"

May I assume you are all Darwinist?

Anyways, I'm going to tack onto the "Original Clan had brown skin" Theory

Right. Green skin is probably a genetic side-effect of their demonic corruption. And even though they are not corrupted *now*, being already green-skinned, they just passed that on to their children.

But then, it could also always be a side-effect from living exclusively in Outland - what with all the mystical energies and crazy magic going on, wouldn't surprise me if it had *some* effect on them.

Right, Right. I could be a milder effect just like Red skin.

But, that'd mean the Humans should have SOME side-effect...

I think that just like there are white and dark skinned people, there are green and brown skinned orcs.

I don't think most of them have been living there for long (i.e. Khadgar and Danath, etc went through one of the portals and only recently returned). In any case, different genes between Humans and Orcs may also be a reason.

How would this explain the Frostwolves? They avoided demon corruption, including the chieften Durotan, and yet they all had green skin even before Ner'zhul started his corruption.

This is most likely the reason.

This is most likely the reason.
Yeah, that's why I added the second reason. It could maybe explain them if they were corrupted, but only briefly, but this seems unlikely.

Honestly I was just halfway through typing it before I thought about them, and at that point I was too lazy to un-type it

Or maybe its the simple fact the humans are not as easy to corrupt as other races. Remember when malfurion first saw a human...Rhonin...He said he had never seen any race able to use magic like a human, and not be corrupted by it.

True, like I said it's genetics.

Humans are also more prone to shield themselves from a harsh environment than the orcs might be. When they first invaded, the orcs wore pretty limited armor, while humans have been wrapping themselves in layer upon layer of protective clothing and steel for a good while, along with opting to live in well-insulated buildings with sturdy roofs to keep all the weather out. Magic energies aside, Outland's still just plain a harsher place than Draenor was, and it's possible the orcs' lifestyle left them more exposed to the often violently altered environment.

Hmmm, so he isn't enslaved after all? I wonder how on earth he managed to escape Illidan's grasp; he was totally pwned at the Black Citadel, and now he is free?

I think he is enslaved and chained in the bottom of Hellfire Citadel. He might just be screaming what he'd like to do to Illidan if he was ever able to escape.

Heh, what a thick head if he is. He should face the music.
I thought perhaps he had raised a Fel Orc rebellion or something, or perhaps since Kael might be Legion he arranged some escape or... god knows.

Okay, I'd have to be some sort of giant moron to not realize that the old Horde was evil. But I really didn't have an idea of how evil. What am I talking about? Why the Road of Glory, of course. When you first arrive at Honor Hold, you do what any good adventurer does. Look around for quests. Well one of the quest givers is a Draenei near by and he tells you about the Road of Glory. It's the road connecting Hellfire Citadel and the Dark Portal, and the old Horde... get this... paved the road with the bones of their slain Draenei foes. The draenei wants you to purify the bones with some holy water he gives you.

Lol what do you expect from a bunch of bloodthirsty savages? They did countless satanic actions like this during the first and the second war with the humens, they used to curve there skulls and use it as warbanners.

The Old Horde did have a clan that would eat the face off your dead corpse and use your bones as decoration, so I am not really surprised.

Must admit though thats pretty creep, a long road of bones, wikes.
