Default Hostages of Zul'aman

It's said that there would be 4 hostages, one for each god-like-trolls...

Any idea?

Greetings.

I think one will be a Darkspear troll- I've seen images of blue trolls in Zul'Aman, so that's only natural to assume they're not there of their own accord.

A high elf/blood elf or two would be natural, as well, maybe that's where Alleria will show up. And I remember hearing there was some Indiana Jones parody in the instance, a human or dwarf, and I'ma looking forward to that.

Those blue trolls were just place holder models for Forest Trolls.... << They are makin' a "new" Forest Troll Character Model, but it wasn't done yet. :p

I always thought of Brann Bronzebeard as a Dwarf version of Indiana Jones. Maybe Brann shows up, which will lead directly into his appearance in Wrath of the Lich King?

As for others, I think Alleria is going to be there. As for the other two, I have no idea. . .

Nope it isn't.
I've read that you just have an NPC dressed up like Indiana Jones with a name similar to that when you enter the instance. He tells you to clear off or something to that effect, stealths, and tries to sneak in. Shortly after the guards kill him and you can start clearing.

Didn't know he died, I kind of assumed he'd get captured and you'd have to rescue him.

Indiaaaanaaaaaaa....

JENKINS!

Well, about trolls, you all should have noticed there are 2 troll models...

One is the main model of the playable race, that could be customizable with npc skins, and the another one is a berserker like one...

How to explain these?

Shouldn't all trolls have the same model?

I think the second ones are BERSERKER TROLLS, just look warcraft 3 tft, there are 2 troll calsses too...

But it should be explained among Zul'Aman...

Greetings.

Indiana Jekins!

Or, you're a fucking idiot?

There's a forest troll model and a jungle troll model- forest trolls are larger than jungle trolls, as are ice trolls. I wouldn't be surprised if all forest troll models are updated (since the forest trolls not in eversong use the old model using green skin). They aren't "berzerkers", they're a different species.

Also, Blizz is workin' on a third troll model, which is an equipable bulky troll model... This one wasn't (or even isn't) finished, so the skinny troll has been used as a placeholder. Hence da blue trolls...

Here is an example of the placeholders: Do they look like hostages to you?....

Skids taps Megatron's Autobot badge.

Skids: Right. There. What does that badge even mean to you? How has wearing it forced you to modify your behaviour? I'm serious! How has being an Autobot in any way prevented you from doing exactly what you want? Because if the answer is "it hasn't"—then nothing you've said or done in the last six months counts for anything.

Whiterbark, Revantusk, Firetree, Frostmane, Sandfury... : Troll characters models with custom skins.

Zanzil the outcast, amani trolls in eversong & ghostlands, some bloodscalp, some skullspliters... : Da "berserker" model.

You didn't read my post, did you?

That's not the berserker model, that's the troll model from beta, which is also used to accentuate the physiological differences between jungle and forest trolls. As I said, it's probable that the witherbark and other forest trolls in-game will get an update with the forthcoming equippable version of the beta troll model, used for the forest trolls in eversong, just like blood and high elf npcs got upgrades during TBC (except it'll be easier, since all those mobs already have armor, it's just a matter of conversion)

"Greetings" yourself.

Zanzil the outcast uses the beta model...

Anyway, there would be cool to be berserkers, just like in w3...

It doesn't matter...

Greetings "myself"

Ooooh, wow, one or two mobs in the game use that model.

You do know STV was the third zone ever made, after Elwynn and Westfall, right?

Anyway, there's no need to be

I would like there to berserker models!

Perhaps the new models have custom skins too, and I can see a berserker jungle troll

After reading troll Compendium I think all trolls are the same, the only physycal changes are the skin and the size...

Greetings.

I just spent like 20 minutes trying to find the picture of the Ancient holding up the dwarf from when WoW was first announced, but I can't find it anywhere.

According to his logic, the only difference between high and night elves are skin color and size... (even though it's fur/moss color for trolls).
