Test realm footage, either public or private.

Yea, thought so Thanks.

And.

Are the info of characters from the manual canon, right? And what if the info is the same as from a RPG book? Speaking about Muninn Magellas. He is described in the wow manual and the same things are in the Dark Factions book.

If it's in any canon source, it's canon, unless overridden by a later source. Just because the RPG says orcs have teeth doesn't mean that became non-canon when the RPG became non-canon. The same applies to anything that is backed up by a canon source like the WoW manual.

After yesterday and last time(Kael's downfall)'s discussion, I really think there are too many retcons in the current storylines, which really pissed me off, many stuff even got retconned over and over.

Sure retcon is unavoidable for a big franchise like WC, but too many of them really damaged the quality of the story.

PvP Symbol - Horde

Why do none of the alternative Hordes (Fel Horde, True Horde, Dark Horde etc) ever just identify themselves as 'The Horde'? If they see themselves as the true inheritors of the faction, then why do they let Thrall's Horde keep the name? Why cave to the imposters?

The doomhammer also serves as a physical trademark granting the user rights to use the phrase "The Horde"?

I guess it's just so the players don't feel confused and call the Horde evil. But considering it kinda is, I don't see the point.

I don't think they call themselves Fel Horde or Dark Horde, it's what others call them.
Thrall succeeded the 2nd warchief of the Old Horde, Doomhammer, Dark Horde succeeded the 1st one, Blackhand and Fel Horde succeeded Ner'zhul, the 3rd one.

Did General Nazgrim get a new model/animation as Garrosh? In SoO raid that is.

I think Dark Shamans had Human Hands. Probably for some animation crap.

The human hands were a texture bug with their armor. When armor textures have a bug they revert to a human texture.

Do you remember where it was said that the Frostwolves had traveled to Alterac killing everythin that could warn fo their presence?

I could swear that Kosak said that, but I'm not sure where.

Yes. Kosak confirmed it.

Kargath called his faction "the true Horde".

But the overall answer is so that the players don't have to feel to bad and the other guys get punchbags to kick. Same reasoning applies to the Scarlet Crusade.

I think that's the Whitewolf RPG. It really demonized the Frostwolves.

Spam thread, probably.

Or maybe the "tell me about your day" thread

And on that note, SoL is a forum I no longer enjoy. So, I'm done here. And I genuinely think the people who have absolutely nothing at all positive to say about the game and, the people whose posts are composed entirely of whining, really consider leaving (or at least sticking to non-WoW sections). Because if you truly get no enjoyment out of WoW, then why are you here?

With that said, goodbye.

I think Lorealogy tweeted something which supports this notion.

I'd love that link. Then we'd know that the Frostwolves cut a bloody swath across two huge continents, killing man dwarf and gnome by the hundreds or thousands without anyone being fast enough to report their presence to the national authorities.

The censuses that year in Khaz Modan, Stromgarde, and Alterac must have been really confusing.

Does anyone know the source of this information regarding Varian's grandmother Varia? Is it from The Last Guardian maybe?

It's from the warcraft I manual, page 19.

Also, check the first version of the page. WTF.

Crossed Swords (War2)

What would be a good name for a general purpose Wildhammer building? It trains Skirmishers, Gryphons, and Shaman.

Also I could use suggestions for a general purpose Dark Iron building that trains Assasins, Warlocks, Golems, and Riflemen. Planning on using Foundry unless I can get a better name.

And then also a general purpose Bronzebeard building that trains armored foot soldiers, ram riders, Motar Teams, and Steam Tanks. Planning on using Barracks unless I get a better name.

It isn't, but I wanted to see if I could get a name that would work for more than just the Gryphons.

I like War Roost though.
