Congratulations Omacron, I hope you really find your place within Blizzard.

Hope to see you around in some form.

Tear 'em apart for us.

Verbally, that is. They need to be intact to correct their mistakes.

So apparently the one corporation that owns all of the real estate in Irvine imposes a curfew on all businesses that they HAVE to close by 9 so we had to go to a neighboring town just to find a McDonalds that was open.

This is going to be fun.

Not that it helps right now but doesn't Blizzard have their own cafeteria?

What the hell, is it a retirement community?

Addendum:
I looked it up, man I can't imagine coffee shops and what not closing at 9... that's insane!

I did however find this: http://www.destinationirvine.com/visitors/nightlife/

Little sad theres only 19 things on that list but it might come in handy. I'm interested in hearing about "Bacchus Secret Cellar Wine Shoppe & Bar"

http://www.urbanspoon.com/t/20/8/OC/...ht-restaurants

Seems like most other locations in the area that a recommended for eating past 9 are in outlying territory. That blows my mind...

Not for nothing but unless I'm being paid a bucketload of overtime I don't intend to be at work after nine. I mean, hell, I'm sure I'll love working there (and the realization that holy hell I start TOMORROW is starting to creep into my brain juices) but I'm not sure if I'll love 12 or 14 hour workdays. Yeah, yeah, every game developer goes through crunch time, but something tells me they don't want the interns to burn out before they're useful as full employees.

Your internship is your burnout test. If you don't as an intern at 14 hours a day, you won't as an employee.

Well then I'm glad I'll be getting people coffee because I'm gonna need a metric shit-ton (that's about 3.7 American customary assloads) of coffee.
