Hah. I'm on those forums too, I'm Omegras, I created that whole lore thread there.

But yeah, the ignorance of the WoW populace knows no bounds.

Yes. People didn't know what to call them, so WoWWiki had in their article that they were "Fire Naga" created by Ragnaros who was an Old God out of Dark Iron Dwarves. This, because they kind of look like Naga -_-

Y'see, personally, I LIKE that theory, but it's completely unfounded and actually against the lore now.

There's allegedly an Old God somewhere in Tirisfal (or so people like to claim, anyway) so I think that area of mountains would be a good place to insert him.

I just started a new and horrible chain of idle speculation = fact, didn't I?

What? Omegras is my main and only druid. He was originally named Omacron, but when I transferred to my current server, the name was taken.

Who's Eraatu (page 3)? I'm Enragus (my highest character is 70, but he's a gnome dk so I'd rather not post with him).

EDIT: oh, is it Exxile?

I found out later they were flamewalkers or something along those lines.

When the high elves landed in the Eastern Kingdoms after getting kicked out of Kalimdor this was the area they settled. They had to move on because they said something evil underground seemed to be driving some of them crazy. So people have extrapolated that there is an old god there.

Flamewakers. They look just like the Salamanders (humanoid) in Appendix III.

Yeah, the Tirisfal Grove exists, and it's where they high elves landed.

But we don't know where it's placed, and there's nothing pointing western Tirisfal lades is that zone.

God, I hate those mindless players.

Edit:

Please CHOP-MY-HEAD-OFF.

PS: Someone tell that troll (lol, troll character) about Hasic and all the other settlements of DotD, as well as about how towns have changed of place from Silverpine to Tirisfal and Alterac to Plaguelands.

Edit 2: Warlock please find Stormcrusher and kick his empty head to death.

Hell, I hate people taking WoWWiki as official source for everything, even when the articles are labelled as speculation. FOR GOD'S SAKE.

Wow, that Stormcrusher guy is an asshole.

Edit: And wow, WoWWiki is missing lore from the RPG books! This must be a first...

It worked in my favor though, he was obviously stealing all his info from them. So the fact that they left out Obsidian Golems (that the right kind?) completely means they are missing information - information that I have, and that jackass that THINKS he has more than me, doesn't.

You know one day, I made a speculation about tirisfal groves, the Golems of Undercity, the bloodstone pendants, the high elves hearing whispers and going crazy, I made a huge post on the french WoW boards saying that this was maybe the case but was not proven, and...

Blizzard highlighted my post in the French Wow Insider, I didnt take it as a confirmation since some of them like to toy with our minds, but still...
