I think we can all agree that what we've seen about the movie so far shows promise, and that Universal shifting it to a stronger position in the summer shows that people in the industry have confidence in it too.

Yes, it could still suck. Yes, it could be an amazing financial success but crater from a critical standpoint or vice-versa. Yes, it could be both a critical AND financial success and there will still be pedantic lore nerds angry that it wasn't a perfect adaptation. Some of those pedants will be here, posting their displeasure.

The bottom line is that the movie is going to come out and it'll have whatever impact it's going to have. Let's move on.

I ask because in bwd it seems only nefarian was "brought back" by deathwing, while onyxias merely a shambling corpse now, due to lack of speech or cognition.

I thought they were resurrected with different magics.

*shrug* It’s pretty unclear, unless you use the “attunement” for Nef’s fight to be canon (i.e. needing Onyxia cloaks). But Nefarian’s retention of his faculties probably points to his preservation by alchemical means, given the nature of his work and his laboratory, whereas Onyxia was just straight necromancy.
