RoS was gamescom 2012, yes. D3 itself was announced at the WWI in Paris in 2008. Might be notable to point out that gamescom started in 2009, and has since grown to be one of the biggest games industry trade shows in the world. Meanwhile, the 2008 WWI was the last WWI that Blizzard has done anywhere.

anyone else watch the Killrogg fight? A bit disappointed by the fact its more of an add control fight. Other fights however look pretty fun

The Legion is pretty much a military meritocracy on an ideological campaign. Whomever wins the most victories / has the most power while upholding the goals of the top dog (Sargeras, but it's been hinted that KJ has been trying to take over ever since the former's defeat) and demonstrating loyalty to your superiors gets to move up the ranks. I see no reason why any particular race should automatically be on top, aside from a bias towards typically being more powerful, like the Eredar or Dreadlords. As a point, both Eredar and Wrathguard are Man'ari, presumably the elite following KJ and Archimonde had the honor of becoming Eredar, while the more rank and file and/or martially inclined became Wrathguard, whom are definitely regarded in a lower stature than an Eredar.

The soundtrack to each xpac has typically had a few "bonus" tracks that never made it into the game proper.

I figure the live version will have more interaction with fel corruption, since it seems to be a complete non-issue for non-tanks unless you let a bunch of hulkings get through. The fight definitely reminds me of Norushen though.

Sargeras rules because he's the most powerful, it's actually quite simple.

He made KJ and Archi what they are now. Yes they were already powerful beings but they only became what they did with Sargeras' demonic buffing.

As for X6: Crow, I think you're (suprise suprise ) giving Blizzard far too much credit here. I'm 99% resigned to us suffering another horrific content drought between 6.2 and X6. If it turns out I'm wrong, I'll be the first to hold my hands up and admit as such, but I doubt that will be the case.

To paraphrase Linkara: "He is the EMPEROR of evil, he should not NEED to get his hands dirty for a mere backwater planet. He has Lieutenants to do that for him."

The fact that mannoroth even has a rank is a joke. He's a dude who's got a history of being a drink dispenser and subsiquently getting his ass kicked or one shotted.

Considering Mannoroth - in a moment of anger where he nearly lashed out at her - realised he had no chance against her, and that was pre-Naga, I'd say she's now pretty powerful as far as WarCraft standards go.

If Azshara was on the same Archie-level prior to becoming naga, then it would stand that going demon would make her the secondmost powerful demon in BL.

I'm more curious just how much more powerful Jaina will be once she goes full draknoid. The more time she spends with her dragon boyfriend, the more dragon she will become...

So I have been unsubbed for months. Suddenly I get the urge to play again; I dunno, level a new character from scratch or something. So I'm thinking "Hey no problem, I'm sitting on PILES of gold that I'm not using, I'll just grab one of them WoW tokens and I'll be playing again in a matter of seconds". I log in and hit the "Reactivate Now" button... which sends me to my battle.net account page and there's no "use your obscene amounts of in-game currency to play" option anywhere on there. So nothing in-game or on my battle.net account page actually allows me to buy a WoW token if I don't have an active subscription. I'm a bit frustrated since that's fucking ridiculous, but I finally give up, shrug it off and move on to playing something else.

Today, I decide to try again. I log in and there's a big pop-up window in the middle of my character selection screen explaining very clearly that I can buy 30 days of game time for X amount of gold.

Is this due to there just not being any WoW tokens available on the auction house or just the system acting fucking weird? Anyone got experience with that?
