Default PTR 5.1 - Horde & Alliance Lore quests Guide

Gathered up some of the core quests and daily quests surrounding the arrival of Garrosh Hellscream and the Horde at Krasarang Wilds.

The recent PTR patch introduced Vol'jin and the Dagger in the Dark quest. A scenario named likewise is supposed to be available to players after accepting the quest (The scenario is not yet available).

The outcome of the scenario starts another quest at Domination Point (Horde stronghold) titled "Someone You Should See". This quest is given by the Messenger Grummle standing near the Dominance Offensive Quartermaster.

Talk to Tak-Tak, and he flies you to Binan Village where you find Chen Stormstout and a fainted Vol'jin on the ground. (currently Vol'jin is a chess-pattern cube. The new model will be introduced in an upcoming PTR build)

Garrosh whispered to a rogue what he had to do. He sent Vol'jin into a dangerous mission only to set him up into an assassination ambush which might happen in the playable Scenario dungeon.

First part of the coverage shows this Vol'jin intro in Pandaria, the initial quests of the Divine Bell, and a few daily quests.

Added the Dominance Offensive's daily quests found at another sub-zone. There is a three-floor Alliance mine in Krasarang Wilds where the Explorer's League unearthed the underground Ruins of Ogudei. The mine is located next to the Lion's Landing (Alliance stronghold).

Garrosh Hellscream: Indeed? It appears I have much to learn from these “mogu.”
So, Garrosh sees the Mogu as rolemodels, because they ruled with fear. Don't let the Pandaren hear this.

Odd that Malkorok would bring up the dichotomy.

Maybe he said it exactly so, to encourge Garrosh in his politics. (If Malkorok is revealed as Mal'ganis in disguise in the future, I will spam the forum with this video.)

Oh, and @ FLASH: AHHHHHHHHHHH: Got to love Blizzard and their popculture references.^^

Edit:

So, Kossak has PLANS for Malkorok.

Agreed. Malkorok doesn't have the charisma of a Dreadlord.

@ Medievaldragon: thanks for the webpage link. Rather interesting to see it all in one place.

Also, Lordaeron is actually Mal'ganis.

The Alliance's three rules on faction conflict:
1) You can't win.
2) You can't break even.
3) You can't leave the game.

Belloc is actually Mal'ganis.

EDIT:

Lol @ "We're not Monsters" quest. That's a pretty damn transparent attempt to keep the Horde grey.

Welcome. It takes a lot of time to get the whole thing together, and browsing through lots of videos.

I thought people who are playing the PTR, and people who haven't would appreciate having the entire questline in a single page rather than each on a separate individual page.

In a sense it's sort of a comic book style hybrid when you can read the text, see images and short videos all in one page.

There's more of a sense of continuity from point A to point Z.

I saw some speculation that Garrosh will attempt or succeed to set himself up as the new Thunder-King by the SoO. This dialogue makes it more likely.

Added the Rise of the Blood Elves episode.

Garrosh sent a mogu magical box to Silvermoon City to be studied and to master its magic for the Horde.

General Nazgrim tells you Lor'themar Theron requests your presence. He sends you to the Farstrider Square's basement to talk to Grand Magister Rommath and Archmage Aethas Sunreaver.

Aethas states the basics of this box is the same as what Kael'thas proposed the Blood Elves.
"You should tell them both that this experiment is a waste of time. The mogu drew power by enslaving the living essence of other creatures. Is this something our Warchief should be dabbling in?

This is the same road Kael’thas Sunstrider once walked, and it nearly destroyed our people. Why are we taking orders from someone who would have us walk down this road again?"
