Added Theramore and Azeroth.

I won't make everything alphabetical since that'll screw everything up.

My vote should be apparent enough.

*whistles* Look at that Gilneas score. ;D

Don't worry, my second and third favorites are Stormwind and Stromgarde respectively.

Here's a question for ya Grim: if you removed worgen from the equation, would you still be a Gilneas fan?

Indeed, there's a lot I love about Gilneas besides just them being Worgen. Ever since I saw their architecture and what potential they had that was enough for me to consider liking them a lot. I had originally not much known about Gilneas other than Greymane's dickery back during the BC/WOTLK days, and then when I saw the Cata preview trailer I just clicked really well with their imagery.

I also think without the Worgen curse, the Gilneans still have a sense of ferocity about them specially when you see how people like Lorna fight. Everything they do just seems to be "better" as they're a very prideful and arrogant kingdom.

Honestly, if Gilneas just came out and had been an extra faction for the Alliance instead of a new Worgen race I probably would have just RP'd a human character as a Gilnean.

I actually love Theramore but am very disappointed by how small it is in WoW. It was a huge city in WC3 and it had so much potential as a new human kingdom in Kalimdor. I would have loved to see like human settlers in Southern Barrens.

What I like about it in WoW is that the city has EVERYTHING - even banks - except an AH. And now they are destroying it. So much lost potential.

I also like Kul Tiras and imagine Bolarus looking something like Venice.

So... is the Azeroth answer supposed to be: "All of this planet belongs to humanity, and the best human kingdom would be one that takes up the whole world"?

Or is it supposed to be: "I do not accept the renaming of the Nation of Azeroth to the Nation of Stormwind, so I am going to treat them as two separate kingdoms"?

EDIT: And shoot! I realized that I haven't seen Theramore yet! I've got to figure out a way to get my Human over before it's destroyed and gone, lost forever and ever not possible to ever see again!

And of course (as is the case with all nations and their leaders), I think Alterac is way more interesting when it isn't just about the Perenoldes. I wish that there had been traitors in this nation other than Perenolde himself, during the Second War.

I wish that during Ner'zhul's scheming, the negotiations with Alterac had been done with someone other than Perenolde. Someone who wouldn't have originally betrayed the Alliance, but now has no choice because Lordaeron and Stromgarde are keeping their nation from recovering. Someone like the Unnamed Mage who fulfilled that role originally (seen in the game and in 3:08 of this video).

And of course, I wish that the Syndicate had been formed by someone who wasn't a Perenolde. Just, any combination of criminal organizations that rose to power in the anarchy-strewn environment of Alterac, some group of power to fill the void.

Apparently the Syndicate isn't led by either Perenolde right now. And that suits me just fine. It's great that Aiden Perenolde was the main reason Alterac betrayed the Alliance all those years ago, but come on---there are surely other people who made things happen in the country! (And I don't mean Deathwing.)

Isn't that Khadgar? Or just an Alliance mage, so not one from Alterac?

This is the mission briefing for the level that comes immediately after that cutscene:

They are also cunning enough to strike a bargain, knowing it is their only salvation. Should they tell you the location of the Book, however, they fear the retribution of the Nations of Lordaeron and Stromgarde. They would be willing to exchange the Book of Medivh for the destruction of these forces that sit along their borders. You must eliminate the military outposts maintained by Lordaeron and Stromgarde. Then seal your pact by entering into Alterac, contacting the Human Mage who guards the Book, and escorting him to safety.
That's also one of the six videos that were only on the Playstation version of Warcraft II, so I imagine most of us never saw it. But all of us who played the mission were able to hear that briefing and escort that Alterac Mage to the Circle of Power.

Then it's quite ironic why they kill the mage his guards.
