Is it not being officially released? Or is it just being shown there and no where else? I always hate having to rely on some grainy, blurred video from a smuggled camera

I'm sure it will be officially released, but whether that happens simultanious with the showing in Leipzig, I don't know. I would guess not - but it depends a bit on how far ahead they planned it.

Yeah, you're probably right. I do think that the cinematics for Warcraft are at times amazing, and can't wait to see what they do with this.

Skids taps Megatron's Autobot badge.

Skids: Right. There. What does that badge even mean to you? How has wearing it forced you to modify your behaviour? I'm serious! How has being an Autobot in any way prevented you from doing exactly what you want? Because if the answer is "it hasn't"—then nothing you've said or done in the last six months counts for anything.

Illidan didnt thinked "Wed Be Prepared" when the BC came out. We see now that he has had his ass handed to him. Its just a matter of time before we see Arthas dead. Its a shame, but I will be ready to jump on his corpse for that loot.

We weren't prepared, because we couldn't kill him at BC launch. Then again, perchance, Blizz, also, was not prepared.

I still say Arthas's trailer catch-phrase should be "Your pain shall be legendary!"

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I rolled my eyes at someone hyping a cinematic that much.

I must somehow be de-nerdifying.

God. Going to just be more 'hey look a troll casting fireball!' 'hey look a gnome backstabbing' junk.

Give me something more dramatic than that, blizzard.

Well, the Burning Crusade cinematic had...the single most powerful demon who...isn't part of the Legion...and Illidari Naga...and Fel Orcs...yeah...whose Crusade is the expansion named after again...?

Guess by our prior cinematic experience, we'll be lucky if there's a single true Scourge represented in it. It'll probably be narrated by Malygos and contain footage of Horde and Alliance Death Knights, killing each other and chopping down barely-distinguishable Iron Dwarves, Wendigoes and Vrykul, with nary a peek of the enemy whose name the expansion bears or his undead armies.

Still, here's hoping. It'll likely be all exposition, since unlike the opening cinematics found in the RTS titles, WoW ones are basically made to be played in a theatre between movie previews. No need for them to have it "storied" when it's less an introduction and more a promo to sell a product.

Seriously, they should have at least put together some sort of "closing" cinematics for vanilla WoW and TBC. Something to tie up the biggest stories with quick summaries of victories won and to give hints of what's coming next. I half expect to start seeing product placement when it comes to WoW cinematics.

"Hey, is that Gnome rogue wearing Nikes?"

I loved WoW's cinematic where the Orc was beating the shit out of the Night elf, and the thing i like mostly about WoW and TBC cinematic is simply the music, Blizzard never fail's at that department.

Funny, because I personally feel that Blizz hasn't made any good music at all after SC came out. WC2 music ROCKED (with all letters in capitals) and SC had great atmospheric music, but after that all their music has been insignificant and unrememberable.

There's quite a few themes that are neat in tFT, and a couple in RoC. ('Doom' anyone?) But I suppose that's just my opinion.

But yeah... I'm not too fond of the WoW music. The only really great track in my opinion is the Stormwind theme. (Upon entry into the city) So epic.

I can appreciate Latin in songs, but it's no good if you can't hear anything except that somebody's singing. Blizz's use of vocals, with the sole exception of that Blood Elf song in BC, is so minimalistic that the singers might just as well be singing about their daily routines in English and nobody would notice.

I got the PM but I don't have an answer worth sending yet.

About the lyrics: I really prefer ones that can clearly be heard and understood with a little language skill. Like Nobuo Uematsu's work.
