![]() For those few who still wander the forums, a haven to discuss the PTR info for 8.2

![]() The forums were loading really slow and then most people decided to chat on Discord.

![]() It got SO agonizingly slow for a few months most people migrated to the Discord cause it was faster.

![]() Anyone else think that it will be the players that chose to keep N'Zoth's gift that will end up freeing him?
Like, you defeat Azshara, the danger is over, cue cutscene (NOT cinematic), and suddenly the party members manifest the eye in their forehead and break the final seal or something? Boom, players, maybe even YOU, just released an Old God.

![]() What's a "megadungeon" in modern WoW anyway? Compared to the Blackrock Depths, how "mega" is Mechagon?

![]() If I had to do a dungeon as large as OG BRD to get relevant stuff for raiding, I would immediately unsub or at least bench myself from the raiding core.

![]() Thinking of this game only in terms of raiding is what ruined it.

But then again, WoW has been stripped of most of the few classic RPG elements it had, so it's not much of a surprise to me if Mechagon is nowhere near as ambitious, or in any way similar to vanilla's dungeons.

So horizontally the final halls are probably roughly adjacent to some of the earlier portions of the instance. |

Although looking at a playthrough of Vanilla BRD, that ramp going from the flamewalker to the big-ass Moria-looking room wasn't half as tall as I remembered. And ARM's right, throughout most of the dungeon you actually descend. The point is still that BRD was a huge, beautiful labyrinth of a dungeon, with a crapload of content crammed into it, giving you a vast number of options as to what to do there, and where to go.

![]() I've personally wasted a long time thinking of how the map of Shadowforge works. It truly is glorious. The core of the city, or what is now BRD, is roughly beneath the Athenaeum of BWD.
