It's a little known fact that Cairne was just the shadow of Dairne.

Honestly, Cairne was one of the last leaders left from Warcraft III, killing him off was a pointless move, all it did was make people like Garrosh even less, and make the Horde's leadership more unlikable.

I just finished the scene where Anduin talks to Garrosh in his jail cell, this scene was given a preview by Blizzard some time ago. The next scene seems to involve Sylvanas and Vereesa. This is going to be my last chapter tonight and then I must hit the sack so I can work in the morning I plan on finishing the book tomorrow night! I will do one more update with this last chapter before that! This is the preview. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/blog/133...k-3-17-2014%20

Update! Sylvanas and Vereesa met in Ghostlands, where they grew up before Arthas destroyed the land. Basically, Vereesa requested that Sylvanas create a new poison that is not traceable to murder Garrosh before the ruling of the August Celestials. But, before Sylvanas agrees to anything she wanted to know why Vereesa wanted him dead so badly. After several excuses/lies Vereesa finally said, "He took my Rhonin!" Vereesa began crying profusely and Sylvanas actually went in and hugged her sister.

Am I right in assuming Saurfang being there and no mention of Thrall means saurfang is now representing the orcs?

That must have been one awkward smelly hug. But it's so out of character unless she did it out of politeness. Sylvanas damned countless innocent souls to undeath and suddenly she feels bad for her sister.

I think the reaction of Vereesa is even more weird. Because while Sylvanas may still have some feelings to her sisters, it would be dangerous for Vereesa to act like that in front of her. Because Sylvanas doesn't even give a thing about Quel'Thalas anymore, so her sister shoul've keep her emotions in check.
Overall, I like the scene. Dunno why.

-How- did they get there unmolested from Durotar?

-Why- has it not been retaken or watched by either Red Dragons or dwarves?

Do dwarves want the cursed hold? Do the dragons want it?

Twilight's Hammer wants it!

Vision of Time is such a hax power. Really. Who would need archaeologists and historians in the world with such trinket.

Exactly. You'd have to be desperate, mad or both to want to live there, and the Red Flight already failed at guarding it, when they were still a flight. Chances are that it's fragmented just like the Blue Flight.

You speak as if:

A. The Dark Irons lack the ability to dispel the curse or Wildhammers lack the abilities to cleanse it.

B. The dwarves are not concerned about a potential threat sitting in the middle of their territories.

C. The dwarves are not interested in the safety and security of their lands. Nor the legacy and potential for expansion.

This development is asinine, illogical and moronic. This cannot be argued against. It is plain as day for all to see. That this is unexplainably bad is fact.

The Wildhammers abandoned it because they did, in fact, lack the abilities. We do not know if the DI can dispel the curse.

The Dragonmaw have been in the TH for a long time, now.

They should all be dead.

The theme of orcs infesting and squatting in dwarf cities is fine up until the point it makes no sense story wise.

Maybe the Old God corruption is still lingering around which keeps the dwarves away for now.

It's not like they took it by force, nor is it likely that all Dragonmaw were even at Orgrimmar.

It depends on how many Dragonmaw managed to escape becoming fleshy quivers or bleeding, screaming sword scabbards. It could be Zaela and ten other Dragonmaw that managed to escape in the chaos and distracted those watching Grim Batol from a distance long enough to get inside, where the Wildhammer are not in a rush to run into due to Modgud's curse and any lingering Old God shenanigans.

Calm down. If the Dragonmaw have indeed withdrawn to Grim Batol, then that means the rest of the Twilight Highlands may now be under Wildhammer control. Besides, the Wildhammer no longer likes living in closed spaces if I remember correctly from the Dwarven leader short story.

Bronzebeards and Dark Irons.

Regardless I am at work and on my phone.

When I am home I will be properly ripping into this fool notion people have that the dwarves do not have a vested interest in Grim Batol and that this development is somehow acceptable
