Forcing her worldview full of contempt of Thrall's life, acquaintances and sense of self worth on him is "being a waifu" how?

I'm referring to Thrall leaving her behind on Azeroth. I recall her not originally being planned for WoD. That's all, Kir.

Sorry, I thought "journeyed to Draenor" was a reference to the events in "The Shattering". #not_our_draenor

How has no one made a joke about not remembering a character?

Thargas Anvilmar, though. He should unite the Dwarves.

Relara Whitemoon.

A long quest chain about curing a sick child. One of the few mentions of the night elves' newfound mortality (before Cataclysm brought it up for a few odd moments). Nothing became of her.

Why does the new 'hip' generation only include Anduin and Wrathion?

Orb of Venom

Talgath, the eredar cosmic-scout who found Velen's new home world. I was really hoping he would turn up on Draenor.

Thargas Anvilmar is far from being an unremembered character. He was included in the Cata updates. He's at the Thandol Span in Wetlands. He was even included in BOTH Wolfheart and Tides of War novels.

I doubt he will unite the clans, nor do I honestly want him to do so, since I find him to be another one of those boring comic book characters we were given in that terrible Varian comic.

I dunno, I got a little bit of a Lothar vibe from him. Both are characters who are technically of noble lineage in their own right, yet their associations with contemporary royalty made them feel like comparably approachable, down-to-earth "Everymen" whose character inspires respect and trust irrespective of their bloodlines.

I wouldn't expect to see the clans as a whole united by him either, but at the same time, I could imagine him being tapped as the sort of dwarf all three clans' leaders might trust enough to lead a coalition of their armies in a time of crisis. Especially after Wolfheart showed his willingness to cleverly mediate the conflicting temperaments of his Wildhammer and Dark Iron peers during the Alliance summit in Darnassus.

I miss Demolitionist Legoso, myself. Hasn't been seen since Wrath, though it's for the best.

The Alliance's three rules on faction conflict:
1) You can't win.
2) You can't break even.
3) You can't leave the game.

Even back in the day as a kid, I found the Lothar story to be forced and far-fetched in Warcraft 2 too.

It wasn't that bad. When it came to the matter of the worgen, all three dwarf clans were in unanimous agreement both times and were the first non-sponsoring parties to submit their "yes" votes.

If this thread is for characters no one remembers, how can there be any characters listed?

It's about as significant as a European noble (or just about any European for that matter) bragging about descent from Charlemagne. "Oh, yeah? Who isn't?"

People give Varian Wrynn a lot of shit for the High King ass-pull, but, in retrospect, that precedent ship had long since sailed with Anduin Lothar's silly Arathi claims in Warcraft 2.
