It's looking like the Argent tournament is a jousting contest, which is kind of cool, in my opinion. Not only does it make more sense than the Argents building a new Gurubashi Arena for FFA battles to the death... hey, new mounts and titles for doing mounted combat!

Where do we get the Aquatic mounts from?
From the patch notes. "Aquatic Riding Ray", probably uses the netherray model.

There is a God!

Wind-Up Train Wrecker

I am guessing this will destroy those toy trains that people annoyingly put down. Win!

The only thing I hate is that I will never get any of those titles and probably miss out on a lot of the mounts, I have way to many alts to concentrate on just one! Oh well. I will probably just work to get the mount on my main and my secondary, and then maybe my others if the quests are not very difficult.

I haven't played in awhile, so maybe I missed something.

But back when I was playing, Beastmastery was shown to give the highest damage output, Marksman following second and Survival was a waste of time. I wasn't the only one saying that.

Darkmoon Card: Twisting Nether

I remember when BM was the most used and SV the least used class-talent combination in the whole game. And even before i was one of the few BMs that existed at that time. Now it changes with each patch XD

It looks like they may be adding Darkmoon Faire achievements. There is a tab for it now. But nothing in it so far.

If you remember, there were a couple there during beta:

P.S. - looks like Character Copy is now open. Got mine transfered over

The Warlock changes are nice for affliction, nice for Demonology, but unless they're adding more changes to deep Destruction, they're nerfing it in favor of Demo. Which gives me just one more reason to never log onto my human warlock again. Unless of course they open cross-faction transfers.

Hmm... how exactly does the PTR work? I'm having trouble figuring out where to put it.

Yes... They added a foam sword :p
I nominate that this item be named: N.E.R.F.B.A.T.
"The Non-lethal Elongated Rapier of Foam for Battle in the Argent Tournament"

They actually found out that the nerf sword is going to be a new reward from the TCG.

Okay, I managed to figure out how to start installing the PTR client, and now it gets stuck at 25% every time I try.

The number is weird, though. Is this the new patch's client or is that not up yet or something?

Quick update: Zarhym (a CM) posted that altough Dual Spec costs still 1000g, it is now aviable at level 40... Also, you no longer need a reagent to change the spec, you just click a button, which doesn't have a cooldown currently... You just may not be in the arena or be in combat....

@ Aldrius: The new client is up... You install the client in a seperate folder and afterwards you download the 3.1. patch...

I have a feeling that now with that change, the gold price will go down. They are not going to make it THAT hard for new players to attain. They probably are just going to feel the waters right now before they set a final price.

Well, about the price, just let me quote him...

Source

Quote:
Dual specialization isn't something everyone needs. It's a perk we're adding into the game, and it's initially going to require an investment. If you can't afford dual specializations for 10 different characters, you might not actually need all 10 of your characters to be able to swap between two specializations on a whim.

I am lazy.

Fortunately I've got a couple of thousand I wasn't saving for anything particular.

I'm sad
I think you mean Drain Life, since Drain Soul wasn't affected by the loss of SL. The Haunt change was simply they didn't want Immolate used with it. There's 2 less DoTs needed to keep up. This makes the rotation much much simpler. And Pandemic wasn't nerfed, they just finally reworked DoTs enough in the coding for them to crit (this also applies to Shadowpriests), and the talent was changed accordingly.

Eradication, ok I somewhat agree with you. They want affliction to stand there and cast now; this much is obvious. It's not something I agree with personally (it takes a LOT of the flavor out of the Affliction playstyle), but I guess they don't want a spec having these fights where you have to run skip and hop around like a freak as easysauce, which the BC affl (or rather a version of UA/SL), properly retalented, would have been.

As stated in another topic

1) casuals
2) epic mount

Now the price itself is really fine, but it will just show the game will still have healer and tank shortage.

Thanks Handclaw. Figured out what was wrong on my own, though.

Now I just have to wait for the five-hour patch to finish downloading.

The 1000g cost isn't a huge problem for me, it's just a set-back for buying my epic flyer...
