So why should you always take 2 Mormons with you when you go camping?

Why do humans put value on silly things like love, religion, sanctity, family, patriotism ect...

Why don't we listen to Agent Smith?

Why do you persist Anansi?

I kind of want to start a discussion on what makes humans feel happy and fulfilled! Why do we create all these artificial things? Is it part of our survival?

The Alliance's three rules on faction conflict:
1) You can't win.
2) You can't break even.
3) You can't leave the game.

I once worked with someone that prescribed to that... whatever you'd like to classify it as. For weeks, nay, months, I thought for sure she was joking. I mean, it's a belief system that's otherwise reserved for Californians, right? Right?!

When it finally donned on me that she was 100% serious, hilarity ensued.

I want to feel bad for my outburst of uncontrolled laughter in that very moment, but... I just... can't. There's just something... unmentionable about that doctrine. I really want to feel bad, but... man, I just don't know.

He'll be that when he tells faithful Catholics to overthrow Capitalism and take the means of production for their fellow poor brothers and sisters.

At the moment, he's merely being anti-capitalist. Not a bad thing, but noot quite there yet to Marxist.

Being anti-capitalist is being communist, to the capitalists of the US.

I was more referring to the quote of the person I linked, to reinforce that point.

13 If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[b] but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. 11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. 12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13

One I will put this in a plaque and give it to somebody!

Well isn't cable news in a nutshell 'here's a bunch of stories that were on the internet 8 hours ago'?

But yea the idea of a white Jesus walking around a bunch of Middle Easterners is amusing.

Anyone who thinks that Jesus was white is pretty ignorant on the subject.
