Apparently I'm a Weird Libertarian.

Quote:
You are so left wing that you're right wing. Which is crazy, right? That shouldn't be able to happen. Well guess what, you're that. You made that happen. You're one political degree away from forcing the universe to collapse in on itself because nothing makes sense anymore. Neither the Democrats nor the GOP floats your boat. It's all just one big mess. You should really just pile into a spaceship with your fellow Libertarian nutjobs and fly to a planet where Ron Paul is your ruler, and you can follow his weird non-law laws for ever and ever and do all kinds of drugs legally and let houses burn to the ground because you have no fire department. That's what that is, right? Take a hike, you weird neocon hippie.

I'm not like that I swear!

I stopped when I had to pick between Ted Nugent and Michael Moore.

What a goddamn nightmare.

Crossed Swords (War2)

I'll try and go through my answers.

Border Fence? Said yes, but only because of my opposition to illegal immigration. The fact that the current one puts Americans on the Mexico side really grinds my gears though.

Legal Pot? Yes. I don't smoke and I don't like drugs though.

Global Warming? Conspiracy!

Tax the Rich More? No.

News? Choose Glenn because I look at more conservative news sources then liberal ones but Google news is my main source.

Big gov? Hate it. Some government is needed for regulation, roads, protection and similar stuff but government still needs to be small.

Hilary? Shriek. I don't really care but I don't much like her.

Gay marriage? No. I don't think Government has a place in marriage(a religious ceremony) or romance at all. I'd make everything a civil union and let everyone get one to anyone consenting individual.

Gun Control? No. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Ted or Moore? Ted, don't like Moore.

Bill Clinton? Hero. I don't actually have a strong opinion of him one way or another. Overall probably positive because he worked well with Congress and had a prosperous 8 years.

Birth Control? Slut pills. Don't really have an opinion on this one.

Palin? Back in Alaska. I think she's fine, wouldn't want her to be president though.

France? Weak.

War? Can be good. War is fine is some cases but should be avoided if possible.

Where would you rather be? NRA. I really don't care about either.

George W. Bush? Bro out. I actually like Bush a lot even if his presidency wasn't that great.

Tea Party? Powerful political movement.

Water boarding? Torture. I'm somewhat conflicted on this. It has saved lives, but I do still see it as something that's wrong.

Osama death? America! Party time.

Better because of birth? No that's crazy.

Abortion? Pro life. Probably one of the most important issues to me.

Sex before marriage? Wrong, but it doesn't mean you are going to Hell because of it. If you have sex with a girl before marriage and you do marry her I think that's fine. This only is applicable to those that call themselves Christians though. If you aren't, go at it.

Death Penalty? Abolished.

Obamacare? Terrible. Needs to be repealed and something that is good needs to be put in place.

Mitt Romney wins? I'll be happy.

The party picker is obviously flawed, it's not meant to be serious. I just could not pass up a chance of Bolvar getting labeled as a "GUN TOTIN' BATSHIT CRAZY PERSON."

Legalize marijuana? Yes. I don't like drugs, though.

NRA convention or Bonnaroo? NRA convention. At least earplugs are available.

Death penalty? Put to death!

Taxing the rich more? Of course.

Premarital sex? Chose "necessary", though in my case I try not to think about it.

If Mitt Romney is elected president, I'd... party, I guess? I wouldn't care either way, considering I've managed to survive four years of Bush without getting sent to Gitmo.

Gay marriage? Totally.

Birth control? Reasonable.

If I could get a beer with Bush Jr, I'd bro out. Though I don't think he'd have many crazy stories after he quit drinking, besides the pretzel thing and the shoe dodging thing.

Abortion? Pro-choice. (In before I'm called a baby murderer.)

Big government? A balanced one is better compared to a nonexistent one.

Tea party is... dumb racists, I guess. Or at least bad economists.

Gun control good? Eh, I'm for the whole licensing spiel, and making people prove they're not crazy before they can buy one... so I guess they're dangerous, yeah.

Obamacare a socialist plot? I chose "no".

When I want to be informed, I'd read... NYT and watch Daily Show.

Bill Clinton is a "hero", I suppose.

Build a fence? No. Passive defenses will eventually fall.

Waterboarding is... torture. Duh.

Sarah Palin would be back in Wasilla.

Does global warming exist? Yeah.

Who would I rather be president? I hardly know of either, but I'd guess Moore.

Do I believe that certain groups are inherently superior? Of course not.

When I hear of France, I think of... a country! That has nice things.

When I see a picture of Hillary Clinton... I'd shrug, but I guess salute is closer.

War is good for... absolutely nothing, if I had to choose.

I reacted to the death of Bin Laden by acknowledging it as a triumph. Whoo.

And I am...

You walk around talking about universal healthcare, the public school system, and taxation like these are NORMAL THINGS and not all parts of your socialist agenda. So go ahead, vote for Obama. Call yourself a Democrat. Because we can see right through you, right into your Communist, er, Socialist bleeding heart.
No surprise there.

You, my friend, are chill. You're open, and understanding, and you believe in LOVE more than anything. War is fascism, man. It's fucked. Washington is fucked, there's no two ways around it. At least, like, there's Obama, you know? Progress is being made, but like, you believe that there is a future version of America – a potential cosmic timeline – where we drop the bullshit, and open our arms to our fellow man, and just live, man. If only we could all just let each other live, right? You also smoke pot. A lot of it.
Took it twice, because a few of the questions I was not able able to decide upon, and got that result both times.

Those questions being, death penalty, Moore/Nugent, war.

I like how I got that "open arms" result, even though selecting a border fence xD

Should have been more options. But eh, it was all in good fun.

Last night I learned that Mitt Romney lived 2 and a half years in Paris and speaks fluent French... My respect for that man then increased exponentially.

He was there on a Mormon conversion mission. Which, conveniently, kept him out of the Vietnam War, which he was a big supporter of at the time.

I got the UVM Student or whatever it was called (the hippie) result in that quiz. Is funny because I voted the pro-war option and I haven't smoked a joint in my life (I kinda would like to try it once though)

Most of them indeed, but the US used horrible weapons on Vietnam, like that acid-stuff that killed plantlife (people who inhaled it still produce handicapped babies) and napalms, nothing is more horrific than seeing a child on fire and burning alive. The Vietnam war was kinda pointless too, what has the US achieved with this war? NOTHING!

It was an attempt to stop the spread of communism, which was the thing at the time.

The war did have one good benefit, it made a general change the US Forces structure so that the reserves would have to be called into war when the rest of the armed forces went (as a political deterrent it make going to war hard like it's suppose to be). Unfortunately times have changed and it doesn't really hold the same political weight. Plus some of what the reserves would have done is also being done by private contractors.

But it didn't really work, did it? (In Vietnam) + All those young Americans that died there or, when they came home, were traumatized. Was it worth it?

It didn't stop it in Vietnam but it discouraged other nations from turning to communism because of what happened in Vietnam.

If you think that a statement like "we had to stop the spread of communism" justifies Vietnam War, then I can say the same about the Afghan War: we had to stop NATO from placing their rockets there. At least that is what the veteran soldiers believe.

I am not sure about it. Too much innocents died a gruesome death, 'The end justifies the means' isn't really applicable to this war.

IF Romney wins (which I hope won't happen) he better doesn't agitate Iran.

Probably not, but that's really the gamble when you do anything like that.

But it wouldn't be the only place the US went to protect their interests without really considering the consequences during that time period and probably still today.

Actually, it would have worked if we were allowed to attack the enemy capital. Once we actually started kicking their teeth in, we managed to kill 1 million Viet Cong and destroy most of their infrastructure, it was only due to corrupt political leadership in Washington that we "lost".

Yeah, yeah, because the state totally wanted to lose the war.

Without Soviet pilots, equipment, and officers Vietnam would never win that war.

They were in a hurry to pull out, they didn't care about the consequences. The main reason Washington didn't really even try to win, just keep the Viet Cong at bay, was because of the fear that if they actually fought back, the Soviets would be dragged into it. Washington didn't know that Soviets didn't really give a rat's ass about Vietnam.
