His fighting style is very Aang-esque. I guess Airbending is the logical inspiration for Windwalkers.

Although he has Firebender eyes.

According to the rest of the internet I've seen I'd say your statement of Majority is highly questionable

MMO-Champion poll is also extremely positive, with four times the "It was good" compared to the "It sucks".

And this is only even counting the general internet populations that give a damn to post crap, the real majority don't give a damn about talking on forums.

Zarhym commented on the cinematic.

In response to:

Dear Blizzard,

In your opening cinematic you show a monk soloing two players. This is completely unfair and I am considering canceling my subscription. Therefore this needs to be addressed or you could lose millions of players.

-Zexlos

That's Chen Stormstout. If he was fighting Varian and Garrosh in the opening cinematic, you might have a point. Maybe.

So, yes, it's Chen Stormstout. And yes, Varian and Garrosh would be equal to Chen's fighting capability.

I'm one of the biggest whiners about MOAR NAVIES!!, and even I don't get the complaint. The naval battle was just to set up the two castaways, to give them a reason for being in the "new land" when they fight each other and meet the Pandaren. Even the little bit of naval we saw wasn't necessary to the trailer--it was extra!

EDIT: I mainly like navies for representing a global scale in a conflict. Which this war has the potential to do, if all of the battlefronts stay open and important. But that's not the same as Pandaria itself.

I'm in the camp that likes it. While not as "epic" as past expansions, it does a perfect job describing what this expansion is about, and was entertaining and visually awesome, which is all that matters in a cinematic. If you're not a big fan about the expansion, then great - have your opinion. But if you do like the expansion, I don't understand how you couldn't like this cinematic. Watching this made me want to meet some damn pandas.

This Cinematic was pretty damn awesome. I laughed at the part where the dumbstruck Human and Orc are just staring, and then the Human passes over the spear.

The Human was totally winning, though.

Also, I'm pretty sure the bell didn't break when the Human got thrown into it.

And all it takes is a tactically calculated "for the Horde" rallying the troops to make them all think "OMG she really does care!"

I liked it since it was more character focused than previous cinematics, while also having plenty of action. Essentially, it was the perfect fusion of the WotLK and Classic cinematics.

If by totally winning, you mean totally having his ass handed to him by a Human armed with a stick.
