Pronounce 'sha' backwards and you still get the same meaning across.

lol @ that Jade Forest cinematic. Alliance and Horde battle tactics are so primitive, apparently.

Where are the flanks, the ranged support?

Armed fish vs. armed monkeys. Really what a letdown.

To be fair, we didn't really see anything other than the first few lines, although I wish we saw more.

Now if they had monkeys riding dogs on the other hand... that's always formidable cavalry.

Take a good look at the hozen there and note that many of them are armed with guns. At first I was sitting there thinking that by all logic it should end up as a one-sided battle, but NOPE, the moment the commanders decide to pull a Leroy everyone's chargin' into melee after 'em.

Same here, honestly.

Guess I'm leaning more and more towards a technological revolution making its way into Warcraft lore, since I was sure we were going to see the first row of Jinyu just drop dead before the fighting even began.

Most of their standing forces in the region are presumably demolished during the first clashes between the Horde and Alliance by way of the Pandaria introductory quests. At this point whatever they can cobble together from the "armed fish and monkeys" is the bulk of what they have until their reinforcements show up in "two months" (i.e. probably the first content patch).

Lol, I think that would have to begin with them shooting the first row then the next 45 seconds being occupied with them awkwardly reloading the guns.

Nah, they never used the guns in the cutscene, so they could obviously have afforded to fire once, then bust out whatever other weapons they had.

Or the game designers just didn't want to sink another year into making a cinematic that complicated.

Given the timing I assumed that Pori was reacting to a new development.

They should make all the holiday bosses into holiday scenarios.

That would, exactly, be a great idea. It would make them much quicker, and they're all ready so easy anyway it doesn't matter, plus, it would shorten the queue times.

Pori listens to this before he goes to bed.

What exactly ARE the Scrolls of Lore? I see them as more powerful Elder Scrolls.

Rule #1: The Scrolls must NEVER be discussed.

Rule #2: Pie is great.
