On WoWWIKI it says that well here it is: "Due to the revamping of Azeroth to accomodate flying mounts, it's yet unknown what will be on this area, if not only mountains or the ocean itself. However, the shoreline of the zone has been changed from current maps, indicating some intention to develop the zone for content. Furthermore, an invisible wall has been placed all around the zone, so that is now impossible to reach it in any way, flying included."

So it is another Blizard FAIL.

They just don't know what to do with it. I think that they forgot it

Well if they are showing whole Azeroth, why leave a small zone between Lordaeron and Quel'Thalas If I am not mistaking even the Scourge avoided that zone.

http://www.wowpedia.org/Northern_Lordaeron

This is all on Wowwiki I could find. And something called Northeron?Strange.

There is like a ton of some information, but it is all Speculation no real facts.

Nothing to really forget if they maybe (most likely) never intended on developing that area.

I think I read somewhere (probably someone's theory) that the Forsaken ships are created and powered through necromancy, being literal "ghost ships", raised from undersea. Or, alternatively, THEY'RE MADE OF BONES.

If that were the case, there would be a Forsaken ship manned by Captain Placeholder fighting an eternal battle at the edge of the Maelstrom against a WC2 Orcish destroyer manned by a Faceless One. Blizzard would never give up that chance.

I knew this was going to be an issue.

WowWiki is ubiquitous at this point. The new version at WowPedia will likely fail because of this.

Keep trying, but even if you correct everyone on this board, we're but a drop in the bucket.

Wikia sells WowWiki ad-space to account password phishers that covertly place keyloggers on your computer via java scripting.

I guess you're missing my point.

I'm not denying that WowPedia is preferable. I'm saying that they had way too long on the wowwiki domain name to have a successful transition.

I think the WoWWiki to Wowpedia transition has already been successful. The term may take a while to die, but WoWWiki as a website has a good chance of falling into obscurity.

It may be like when "WoW Insider" became "Wow.com" or the like...

Tirisfal Grove I'd hope since the big reveal of the giant area by Deathknell turned out to be a lake and a mushroom circle, I don't know why I have such a hardon for that place but I do.

When you see the vids of the dev's using the recent world builder tools it makes you wonder how hard it would have been to plop down a few highborne ruins or desolate elven buildings, the models exist

It will be kind of lame if they were to use it at a later date and pull the "It was there alllllll along thing.

No, the "Tirisfal grove" theory. I do not like it.

If Blizzard is using Wowpedia links from its main page, I'd say that's a pretty successful transition, wouldn't you?

No, they don't. The other site they link to is Wowhead. Blizzard has apparently realized that the jig is up with Wikia, and they've gone with the community.
