![]() @SREG - Chivalry means you respect a woman. Chivalry does not demand that you bend over backwards to defend them without cause. Some people define it that way, the old old way, and for that they often shoot themselves in the foot.
Me, I learned from living with my sister that you have every right to defend yourself from any individual regardless of gender, race, or age. If a 5 year old points a gun at me and threatens me with death I have every right to smack the gun out of his hands and slap him upside the head for his impetuousness. If a woman assaults me than I have every right to defend myself by whatever means are reasonable including restraining her or straight up knocking her out. @Lowtide - The point is it's the Internet and people claim to be things they aren't. I don't trust anyone who claims something that's unverifiable and it's served me quite well. |

![]() Yeah i have a mate thats tall and has quite long hair. He doesnt really give a shit about what other people think which has caused for some funny moments like when a little kid spat on him.... Good god that kid was a fool he got a greenie right to the face.
Hes had people trying to fight him for the sake of it and him simply moving his foot upwards with them running into it and a cocky gorl who grabbed his hair (may i tell you it was one of the funniest moments of my life) he began swinging hhimself around while grabbing his own hair (probably so it didnt hurt) and she ended up flying into a car. So in all honestly i hate people who take advantage of stuff to make themselves look good and bully etc. And with me being quite small i have had my fair moments of it let me tell you that. So i agree with Cantus ![]()

![]() WoW was the first time I ever played a game online and since I thought it would be weird to play as a female character, I thought others would think so too.

![]() Haha, fair enough. My friends enjoyed prank calling/IMing others pretending to be hot women and then embarrassing the hell out of them, so I got a clue pretty early on.

![]() Some of you probably have heard of this.
It's a big reason why people are wary of women in WoW. It's also the main reason why I always thought it was a really good idea to have my wife as the GM of the guild we started - there wouldn't be any favoritism like this tolerated. The link itself is fine... some of the, er, media that is hyperlinked is NSFW. http://www.dtguilds.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8029

In any case I'm not wary of women, merely wary of manipulators and the groupies they tend to gather 'round them. It just so happens women are naturally more capable of it when you're dealing with a population like WoW's (by virtue of their lack of social skills). |

![]() I find that actual female players are disproportionately represented on RP servers. All but one female WoW player I know or met personally play primarily on RP realms.
Of course, the only time I ever had an opportunity to bone a WoW player was when Drz stayed at my place last October, but he's not my type. ![]()

![]() I wanted to get some wireless headphones for my birthday but with my monitor trying to kill me I have to change to getting that. And paying for some of it too since they're so damn expensive grumble grumble.

Me, I have some damn nice speakers my parents very fortunately gave me a decade ago, so all I care about is hooking up to those. I could use a sub-woofer though. |

If you want a really nice set of head phones, go for something over $100, because otherwise you're just paying 30-50 extra for something that tops out the same as any other set. http://gizmodo.com/5371253/giz-expla...-less-than-100 |

![]() I have a mouse, a might mouse for my mac only issues is...no desk/table etc. I pretty much play in bed, all relaxy like. So I don't have a good place to use the mouse.

![]() I set up a fold out table in my bedroom if I ever wake up and immediately need to write. I also use it for WoW occasionally.

![]() I hate using desks, screws with posture too much, I always work from a couch, bed, armchair, or ridiculously comfortable area with only fabric surfaces around. Instead of a roller ball style mouse I use a laser, and those things work even better on fabric since there's no errant surfaces that cause reflection and the mouse pad is everything around you. If you can afford to snag a wireless laser mouse (preferably with extra buttons if you're playing games) that'll fix all of your problems both in PvP and PvE. When I still played WoW as a warlock I had life tap and soul drain mapped to mouse buttons 3 and 4, and that allowed me to keep up important buffs/farm shards.
