![]() He's using the Lich King model in that, which is kind of funny.
Anyways, very cool. It's too bad they can't redo Sylvanas' model to be closer to what they showed. Also, it seems that, according to the trailer, she still dies at the hand of Arthas. |

![]() No, originally she presumably died on the site of Ranger Hold or whatever it's called, along the eastern bank.
EDIT: Got it working. Eh, it was okay. I expected more from such a memorable event. Kinda have the same problem with it I do with the one in the Sunwell Trilogy.

![]() It's a decent video. It isn't as good as Blizzard's "Black Temple" trailer, but it has scattered stand-out moments. The combination of Sylvanas' Warcraft III "death" and Sunwell Trilogy "resurrection" is kind of confusing, though. As much as I disliked the Sunwell Trilogy "retcon" (if "rumors" Lor'Themar heard can be called a retcon) it at least resolved how Sylvanas gained a corporeal body by depicting the possibility that she'd always had one. Now with this video showing her raised as a banshee on an alter, we're faced by the same mystery again.

![]() They show her body lying in some rubble (a night elf body wearing sentinel armor by the way), then they show her on a pedestal in Arthas' necropolis or what have you getting her soul ripped out, supposedly 'being tortured'. Not much other than that.

![]() Mmm....
Well, in one moment of the video they show her been killed or at least wounded and unconscious in front of a building, which could account for the rubble (if one takes in consideration a possible difficulty for putting broken bricks in WoW - not destructible buildings yet), and in the other in top of an altar, as in the scene of the manga. One could imagine that she was killed or striked with Frostmourne in some area of Quel'thalas, and being later dragged away to Lordaeron, the place where, I have heard, the "ripping soul" moment is done in the Sunwell Trilogy. |

![]() The only thing I thought was missing was Arthas screaming "Vae Victis!" or "PWNDT!" as he impaled Sylvanas. Either would have worked.

![]() I wonder if at some point in the fight (Or any time we encounter him since it seems we encounter him quite a bit), he'll be without the helmet. *ponders*

![]() Actually It really looked like he was still using the old "caveman" model.. his face was always blocked on frontal shot's by his hand and shoulder armor (which didn't animate with his arm) The Hair was a dead give away.. it's the human hair with long hair and 2 bangs that come from the side

![]() Awesome as that video was, you know what pisses me off?
Instead of using the either the old warcraft 3 version of Sylvanas´ raising or the manga´s, it seems like they mixed both together. We see Arthas almost killing her and then raising her in this random altar like in the manga. So where do we stand? Do we need a 4th version? Maybe throw Kael´thas in the mix?

![]() There were only two grand moments in that video in my opinion
1. The way Sylvanas' libs move while sining 2. The shadow scene of her death (it rocked) I agree that it is not nearly as grand as the dark temple tailer, and the fact that ramdom players come by and kneel kinda ruins it for me. If only they would give her a undead high elf model, its about time now

![]() Dark Rangers are more ne like than be/he like, so I like the Night undead elf model...
Of course, before being "owned" by Arthas, she should be high elf, but then her body could become something more... Greetings.
