Well, at least he redid his hair completely and put on heavy make-up and prosthetics, as well as imitating a stereotypical "black" voice. He put effort into it, and it was hilarious.

King, and Dolezal, didn't even try, and some leftists STILL think they are black! I guess you could say they "went full retard".

Quote:
Megumi Igarashi - who works under the alias Rokude Nashiko which translates as ?good-for-nothing kid? or ?reprobate child?- faces up to two years in prison after Tokyo police arrested her yesterday for displaying figurines modelled on her and distributing digital data used to build a yellow kayak based on her genitals.

She is accused of sending a link that shows her plan to create a boat "using three-dimensional obscene data" to a large number of people.

The owner of sex toy store where the artist exhibits her works was also arrested on obscenity charges, police said.

"They showed obscene figurines in a glass case so that people coming to the shop could see it," said a spokesman for the Tokyo police who declined to give his name to Reuters. "This is a new factor," he said.

Igarashi was briefly held by police earlier this year for trying to raise funds through a crowdfunding website for the construction of the canoe which she calls her ?pussy boat?.

Just to clarify: I don't agree with her being arrested over it. Especially in fucking Japan. I think "conceptual art" should be flushed down the nearest toilet, like the shit it is. If it didn't take skill or craft to make, it isn't "art". A canoe shaped like an onahole isn't "art", it's just pointlessly gross, narcissistic, and stupid.

Yep, it's one of the oddities of Japan.
They're generally okay with sexuality but they censor the genitals in porn (its the reason why tentacle porn exists in the first place) and it can sometimes be an issue.

It's an odd line to be sure.

I thought that was because of "The Fisherman's Wife"?

The censorship mostly came later, I think. "The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife" is pretty old.

Wasn't the censorship because of some stupid shit that MacArthur put in the Japanese Constitution, or was it their parliament?

Japan really needs to get rid of that genital censoring law. It's accomplished pretty much the exact opposite of what it was intended to (though that counts as a win in my book), and at this point it's not like it's actually doing something except making the most natural part of japanese porn look silly.

I'm not sure (and honestly, I don't feel like looking it up). There are also some older Japanese attitudes about pubic hair being unclean, and not wanting to show it, or something.

Feels awkward that I even know this.

As far as I can tell, it's a result of the Meiji restoration, a period at the end of the 19th/beginning of the 20th century, during which the feudal structure turned into an absolute monarchy, the country heavily modernized, and many were really annoyed about western influences in the country (which is probably partially to blame for how Japan suddenly became anti-porn). You may know the Meiji restoration from watching The Last Samurai.

God, I hate that film. It's a fucking mockery of the men who gave their lives to bring Japan into the modern age.

I'm looking forward to a movie about the french revolution in which we follow a heroic duke, unfairly accused and attacked by the barbarous and savage peasants that seek to abolish justice and tradition in their crazed thirst for blood.

Yeah, basically.

I used to visit a review site specializing in bad movies, Jabootu.net, and one of the writers there said that an American equivalent of The Last Samurai would have involved a shipwrecked samurai being taken in as a guest by Southern plantation owners, and how he learns to respect their slave-owning ways. The Union, of course, would be presented as evil.

Which is pretty much what The Last Samurai is.

Were the samurai really as bad as Plantation owners?

I'd say the ones that were part of the rebellion were pretty bad. Motivations for the war were included no longer getting free stuff, the emperor not launching a pointless invasion of a desirable trading partner just to give them an honorable death, having others own weapons and fashions changing so that their samurai duds were no longer hip.

You shouldn't romanticize samurai any more than you'd romanticize knights. They were medieval warriors, and their values reflected that. There was a time for such values, but better options were available by then.

Admittedly, the samurai of the Tokugawa Shogunate had largely been constrained.

That's it. I'm sick of all this "P-51 Mustang Wings" bullshit that's going on in the d20 system right now. Japanese turboprop wings deserve much better than that. Much, much better than that.

I should know what I'm talking about. I myself commissioned a genuine Mitsubishi Zero in Japan for 2,400,000,000 Yen (that's about $200,000) and have been practicing with it for almost 2 years now. I can even cut through the wings of a B-29 with my wings.

Japanese factories spend days working on a single turboprop wing, and fold it up to a million times to produce the finest turboprop wings known to mankind.

Japanese turboprop wings are thrice as sharp as the wings on European turboprop planes, and thrice as hard for that matter too. Anything a Me-109 can cut through, a Zero can cut through better. I'm pretty sure a Japanese turboprop wing could easily bisect a flying aircraft carrier with a single well-planned maneuver.

Ever wonder why the Soviets never bothered conquering Japan? That's right, they were too scared to fight the disciplined pilots and their turboprop wings of destruction. Even in World War II, American AA guns targeted the fighters first because their killing power was feared and respected.

So what am I saying? Japanese turboprop wings are simply the best wings that the world has ever seen, and thus, require better stats in the d20 system. Here is the stat block I propose for Japanese turboprop wings:

(Mounted Weapon)
1d20 Damage
19-20 x4 Crit
+2 to hit and damage
Counts as Masterwork

Now that seems a lot more representative of the cutting power of Japanese turboprop wings in real life, don't you think?

tl;dr = Japanese turboprop wings need to do more damage in d20, see my new stat block.
