Apparently Heroic Cromagus and Nefarian can be bugged out by putting a taunt (any taunt) and KT on the board at the same time, the AI will never attack and will just stand around and die. I haven't tried this yet, but serves Blizz right for overtuning Cromagus and Nef so badly.

I know it's minor, but it does bug me a little that Dragon Egg has zero synergy in a dragon deck, since 1) it doesn't count as a dragon itself, and 2) none of the dragons it puts on the board matter because dragon-synergy cards don't care about dragons that are already on the board.

This, despite my guess that a Blackwing Technician or Blackwing Corruptor loves messing around with dragon eggs like a pig loves slop.

Nope.

You can cheese some quests if you have a friend handy, and enjoy some epic non-standard games which is imo more than worth it.

Last night on the ladder: dragodins. Dragodins everywhere. In other news, my dragon warrior deck is crushing pretty hard right now.

Dragon Egg is pretty disappointing on the whole. No dragon tag and despite being 1 mana cheaper the nerubian egg just does the job so much better. Synergy with dire wolf/flametongue is the only purpose I can think of for it. Even then, unless you pop 2 whelps (unlikely) youíre better off grabbing just about any other 1 drop in the game.

I suppose itíd not the worst thing to draft in an arena deck given no better options.

How in the fuck did this happen to me?

Does Hearthstone just have a small ranked playerbase?

F2P game, with loads of bots (for some weird reason), with a ladder that resets monthly - and not everyone plays every month, thus being inactive, and probably still counting.

The thing about words is that meanings can twist just like a snake, and if you want to find snakes look for them behind words that have changed their meaning.

No, I think inactives don't count. Most HS players are terribad and a good chunk don't see the point of ranking, Blizzard has said as much in the past.

Anyhow, it is fortunate that I wasn't drinking anything when Nefarian renamed me or I might have given my monitor an unplanned wash.

The curve most likely peaks around Rank 20.

Ninja cardback this month.

(sigh) If only the Pirate cardback hadn't been so early. I'd probably spend a tiny amount of money on it, but gone forever. Ah well.

On a related topic, Valeera somehow gained dominion over pirates and ninjas.

pirates are the dashing rogues who excel at swordfighting (combat spec) while ninjas are obv subtlety.

Given that we will have a HotS avatar roulette, I feel it is only fair we also do a Hearthstone avatar after it. The art is already there it is just a matter of dolling it out.

I am up for the task but before I go into the planning stages it would be nice to have a general idea about the level of interest.

So, who would be up for a hypothetical hearthstone roulette after the hots one (like a week or two after it)?

Heh, this sounds like me. I just get to rank 20 every month for the card back and that's all I bother with

+1 interest.

And I agree this is definitely a project for C9H20, if he's up for it. No offense to the other Hearthstone enthusiasts here.

Alright, I guess I will post the poll for the roulette a few days after the hots one ends. If there are enough takers (like 10 or so) we'll have a roulette.

Interesting. Why do you care for the cardback if you play HS only a few times a month? Or did I misunderstand and you play Casual/Arena plenty just not Ranked.

I am genuinely curious.

I just beat the Dark Iron Arena in the most hilarious way.

Mage Burn/Frost deck.

He plays Milhouse Manastorm turn 7.

What's in my hand?

Pyroblast and Antonidas.

So many fireballs.

I use the normal cardback because there isn't anything I like yet. But I still get the monthly cardbacks just in case I want them someday. I'm a packrat.

Nefarian: "Priest, the Light serves me now!"

These bosses can stop pretending like Anduin is some kind of choir boy. I mean, come on Nefarian. The "Light" you steal from him is about 50/50 for being some form of mind control, torture, or shadowy death.

Oh I'm the same, previously I was even collecting all the cardbacks on Americas server before stopping because I just don't go there at all anymore and it was pointless. In general I am a big completionist.

I have the cardbacks for every single season, HC nax (maybe I finish HC BRM one day, but I don't care for that cardback) and I might finally go for legend this season (but it's such a fucking grind).

But again, I play this game quite a bit so it makes sense for me to invest time into cosmetic stuff.

A side effect of Pyroblast should be that it prevents the user from using the "I'm sorry" emote

I unlocked the Molten Core today. I'm starting to wonder whether I'll ever be able to buy boosters or play arena again, or if new expansions will be released every time I finish up the previous one.

Logged in today, and two boosters had been gifted to me from "outside the game".

Edit; Aha. http://www.polygon.com/2015/5/12/859...ree-card-packs
