Default Leveling Tips

So I just started a Draenei Shaman. Having attempted a few Alliance characters, I knew the general layout of the Alliance cities and a few other things, so I've managed to get to level 24. However, I'm anxious to get this shaman to level 70, and was wondering if anyone on the forum could give me a hand with things I could do to make it easier.

Just stop any current hobbies, jobs or the like... tell your friends you're busy for the next few months. Strap yourself in for the grind of a lifetime...
By the end of it you'll have wasted a lot of your life for nothing.

I suggest you escape while there is still time!

Quest quest quest, and, if there's still time, quest.

Quest as much as you can.

I have no right to put her and Alvin in that position.

Darkmoon Card: Blue Dragon

Only play when Rested.

That way you get an image of progress.

Thanks guys. Must be doing something right because I made 31 in like a week.

Not mind-blowing. But pretty awesome.

Grit your teeth for 35-50. The footwork-heavy "dead zones" of leveling that are Tanaris, Stranglethorn, Hinterlands and Feralas are deader than ever with everyone off in Outland and CoT. Without a consistently available leveling partner or a high-level guildmate it can be daunting to stare at a quest log full of group and dungeon quests these days and see fewer than ten people in the zone, all either too low leveled to help or too high leveled to care.

Bah, ignore my cynicism. Heat's just getting to me, I guess. Still, the pickings are slim when looking for a group for anything in present-day Azeroth these days.

And gratz on 31
