Most other races apart from those you mentioned, do have some serious lack in notable characters. After reading ARM3481's response, the horde race that has the most chance of providing a hero that can be seen as hero in both the eyes of their own race and be a person alliance could stand behind too, is the tauren. + their story really needs more depth, yes the orcs saved them from likely extinction, but is this bloodoath the only reason they're still fighting alongside the horde through all those years? Many of the causes they've fought for are not their own, though it killed many taurens in the process. |

Cataclysm is arguably Blizzard's most ambitious Warcraft project since the inception of the MMO. They've given themselves ample opportunity to expand on a variety of issues whilst introducing some fresh content with the restructuring of the game world. I really do hope they take full advantage of this position and create the sort of Warcraft experience that we've come to know and love; and at times, grow frustrated with when its quality is diminished ![]()

![]() more info about cataclysm has been reveiled, showing that Hamuul Runetotem will be working together with Malfurion Stormrage in Mount Hyjal, so either Malfurion will still be alliance with hamuul being his counterpart for horde, or we'll have both of them becoming neutral.

![]() I had a thought. This would be a great opportunity for Blizz to use the night elven animal gods and connect them to the troll animal gods of the Zul' cities by way of the new troll druids. A group of them could be in Hyjal and through interacting with Goldrinn, Avianna and Tortallus, realize they are the same kind of being. And who else's first guess about the "ally" they are returning to this realm will be Cenarius? (Could be Ysera, but they already mentioned her.)

![]() if Cenarius returns, and he sees Garrosh(son of the guy that killed him) lead the horde and having captured half of the ashenvale forest, the horde might have a new powerful enemy.
or the opposite might be the case, him forgiving the orcs for killing him (maybe a prophecy, like M'uru) and the night elves and orcs working together a bit more. Though with the alliance and horde being at the brink of all open war in cataclysm, it seems a bit unlikely. The connection between the demigods and the troll gods could be possible but as shown by the questline to recapture Echo Isles(http://www.mmo-champion.com/news-2/c...he-echo-isles/) they seem to have the same gods as the Gurubashi trolls in ZG( they are shown to use bats and a tigerspirit) so that would be tiger, raptor, panther, spider, serpent and bat. With the demigods in hyjal being wolf, raven, deer and turtle, it would be quite a stretch to link both. |

![]() RPG said they got a female dwarf, their leader is still Faranell.
DotD is before WC3, it also said the Six got 2 women, but in truth only Modera was a female member. |

![]() Diablo 2 ... Rarely ever seen Druids, Assassins or Paladins with Axes or other beastly 2 handed weapons. Or even 2 handed weapon Barbarians for that matter. Cant quite fathom the origin or legitimacy of your frustration.

and for the other 2 leaders of the RAS, the Wrathgate storyline would've been great to put one of them into the game as the main enemy instead of Putress(who apart from the brief introduction during the scourge invasion was unknown iirc). I don't really see the forsaken, aspecially the RAS play a big role in the events in Cataclysm(yes, I know they attack Gilnaes, but that seems unlikely to be a big storyline, except for the worgen starting quests. Plus, with the Kor'kron looking over the shoulder of the RAS, they probably won't be making a plague anytime soon (doubt the orcs would see the difference between one against scourge and one against all living beings). p.s.Typemaype, what in the world are you talking about? |
