The elvish populations will probably cannibalise eachother.

Night elves and blood elves will likely lose players to those who wanted high elves and had to make do with those two factions.

They will also lose players to those who wished to play dark elves/drow and got purple wood elves instead.

Most of the other races, bar perhaps Draenei and humans, aren't really in danger since they attract other kinds of players.

I also think the orcs will become more attractive with the straight back posture in place. Plus the Zandalari might get noticeable traction as well.

I kind of hope Zandalar has some tol'vir. I don't know why or how they'd be there - maybe to keep an eye on aqir in Vol'dun, or watching over Uldir - but they have been criminally underused.

Agreed, their aesthetic seems like it would fit well with what we've seen of Zandalar.

I agree. Straight backed orcs have been requested for a long time, and Zandalari seem to be really popular as well. That combined with the elf playerbase likely splitting as Nazja said, and we probably see an increase in orcs/trolls on Horde side.

Oh I agree with this 100%. I've read comment for years about players saying they'd like to play orcs/trolls but can't stand the hunch. Now I see comments about people exited them play non-hunched.

I would play a non-hunched male Orc.

I'd also play a non-orcoid male Human.

Plus they could fit in as enemies of the Seth'rak.

What's the Zandalari aesthetic based on anyway? Mesopotamia? It kind of reminds me of the Dwemer.

Really? It's completely mesoamerican - Aztec, Mayan and Inca. Look up some of those on google.

Incas are not Mesoamerican.

Pre-Columbian empires would be a more fitting denomination.

Depending on how the female void elf casting animation is, I definitely plan on race changing my main (female human mage) to one. But it depends entirely on the casting animations.

If the Void Elves permanently float like in the trailer, that's be awesome.

They use the Shadow priest float animation, but there's no big void around them. So if a Void Elf mage for example floats while casting, that would be awesome.
