Default Poster inspired NPCs

So in order to reduce some of the clutter in the WoD thread, and with the news of one of SoL's posters has had an NPC created in their owner, I thought we could take the discussion of posters and their hypothetical corresponding NPCs in its own thread.

So how do you picture various SoLers (Scrollers? Lorebros? Do we have a designated demonym?) and their hypothetical, non-playable Azerothian counterparts?

Mine would be an angry tauren exasperated about pretty much everything and punching orcs until they stop being dumb, while also punching other tauren until they stop being pansies.

Hm, well thread necromancy seems quite frowned upon so I definitely agree with this.

Anyway, I guess my NPC would be some kind of person, maybe a rogue or warrior or death knight, wearing full black, obsessing with being a unique snowflake anti-hero in an otherwise bland, by-the-books group. (But ironically is actually a pretty nice guy when you look past the desire to pay evil unto evil.)

So a cranky, Cairne-aged Tauren, talking to whoever will listen to 'em about how basically everyone in the Horde is acting like idiots? I could dig that.

Orb of Venom

I'd give myself an NPC if I wasn't certain it would be a condescending piece of masturbatory self-indulgence on my part.

That is one of the few things that I guess I'm excited about from WoD... although I personally think you should go back to Warcraft 3 in protest.

An Orcish Warlock, yes, but what else? A trainer? A quest giver?

Also feel free to offer suggestions on other posters.

I have long thought that the Wowpedia admins and the Scrolls of Lore mods should be fighting over Izal-Shurah.

Edit: Both Warlock and Kaydeethree have NPCs based off of them.

I always just imagine this NPC was based off of me.

If his npc is a guard I'll need to flag up and find a way to murder him over and over again on my Horde toons.

I'd be a Druid casting Wrath at a dummy, and after every couple of casts I'd say "Wait, when did we go from plants and animals to the sun and moon?"

Also: Forsaken wearing a Flimsy Human Mask in Stormwind named Destron. I want this so bad.

And on that note, SoL is a forum I no longer enjoy. So, I'm done here. And I genuinely think the people who have absolutely nothing at all positive to say about the game and, the people whose posts are composed entirely of whining, really consider leaving (or at least sticking to non-WoW sections). Because if you truly get no enjoyment out of WoW, then why are you here?

With that said, goodbye.

Wasn't there also a thread where we tried to imagine what other posters would be like in Warcraft? (And most people pegged me as either a Worgen Warrior, Death Knight, or Rogue.)

In some random neutral town there's an inn known as the Sol Inn.(It uses the human inn model)

The entrance to the inn is guarded by a golem.

The Innkeeper is an Orc who's given up his former life of demonology.

The Inn has a female Tauren bouncer named Sarah.

In the basement there's a female Forsaken Warlock with a miniature Sylvanas statue crying over the corpse of a dead female Naga.

At the seating area there is a Human Hunter showing off his gun, an NPC beside him is called "Human Hunter's sister."

One of the tables there is a Human Footman, a Dwarf Warrior, a Worgen, a Troll, an Orc, and a Night Elf.

The Human Footman wears Stormwind armor but has a Hillsbrad tabard and he complains about being in this town rather than in Lordaeron.

The Night Elf complains about the inn being of the Human variety.

The Dwarf complains about Muradin always being in Ironforge and never in the field anymore.

The Orc complains about his hunch hurting and wishes that he didn't have one because of that.

The Worgen complains about how bright the zone is and wishes it was darker like Gilneas.

And the Troll has a large pile of Troll gear near him but is complaining that none of it fits him.

Upstairs there is a Night Elf with engineering goggles and a Gnome discussing democracy.

Besides the Human, Orc, and Undead characters, what classes are the other races. ;P
