Default Do you like coffee?

What kind of Mexican jumping beans do you guys like? I prefer a medium-light roast because it gives you more caffeine than a dark roast, beyond that I'm not picky. In my experience, the quality of the coffee is most important part, then it's about getting the appropriate size grind for your brewing method. Doesn't really matter how you make it whether it's a drip carafe, French press, cold brew, or fancy Keurig machine.

I don't like coffee. Something about the taste as a drink.

Which is weird, because I do like coffee as a flavouring in food, but not as a drink (But then they're usually sweeter, as coffee's a bit bitter and while I rather like bitter with sweet, I'm not such a fan on its own)

Yeah, I like a nice cuppa joe.

I tend not to make a fuss about the quality of the bean, roast or grind because I typically add enough milk to offend even novice coffee connoisseurs.

Really dark roast. Unless the coffee is darker and stronger than my soul then I'm not satisfied.

Sure, it's great for study marathons, when the deadlines loom and you've spent way too much time online. I drink coffee with friends in cafes (surprise surprise), but I very rarely drink it on my own when I am not studying, I just don't feel the need or have the habit. Which is strange since people here drink lots of coffee, my mom and dad drink a cup every morning and often a few more during the day. Most people are like that.

As for the kinds, I drink ground, roast coffee which is boiled for a short time (we call it "Turkish coffee" and is widely drank here). But I much prefer and more usually drink nescafe. Both with lots of milk

I only like to drink things that taste good. Like sodas, vodka, and sake.

Theres a hipster coffee joint a block away from campus. I don't go there though.

I consistently drink large quantities of coffee. I'm not at all picky about the type of bean; I approach the drink as a gourmand rather than a gourmet. However, I almost always drink it black.

Traditionally prepared Ethiopian coffee is savory, but I rarely have the occasion to drink it.

I take it black with a little sugar usually. In the past when I had the occasion to make French press, I added a pinch of salt which brings out a lot of flavor without actually tasting salty. Some people add butter, which sounds weird, but I'd give it a try.

Also, Nescafe?? GTFO!

Any other coffee than black is heresy.

I dunno, probably not. Can you let me know what it is when that happens?

Not my fault you've been duped by the food science industry into swigging down their watery facsimile of coffee-like substance.

How could you possibly tell? Starbucks is most people's excuse to just get dessert early in the morning and tell themselves it's coffee.

Black plain old filter coffee. At least two cups a day.

But you specified the coffee part being good, to which I respond that the quality of coffee matters very little when there is so much other bullshit in there masking it. I say this only out of love and as a friend of fine coffee.

To be clear: a Frappucino is not a coffee. It is a dressed up coffee-flavored dessert beverage. Which is fine, if that's what you like. Just don't go around calling it something it's not.
