Curt Schilling has all but admitted he's only in bed with EA because it's virtually impossible to get off the ground without a major publisher, and that he'd like to break away as soon as 38 is on its feet and able to do so.

Honestly, Activision is just about as bad as EA... Blizzard just enjoys a degree of autonomy that 38 hasn't earned yet.

Its is a ok game really... Its PvP will shine i think for awhile.

Can't say much about the game, not really interested, but the lancer looks like fun.
I just love how all the comments i see for this game is "lol porn". (no, really, "this game is essentially porn" is literally a comment i've read on a preview for it) I bet my left testicle you won't ever see even a single nipple in that game and yet everyone and the kitchen sink complains about "nudity". I find that funny and disturbing at the same time.

What they changed? Aside from the story they also changed quest structure and pvp. They rebalanced the skills and added some dungeon finder and group finder functionality.

The US version is markedly different from the Korean version. Much more so from launch. The progression is much smoother. You get mounts earlier the crafting system is 75% less bullshit (Still has some bullshit but still a marked improvement)
Oh and there are nipples. you look hard on some of the high level armour and you get areola slippage on the castanics.

As for pvp shine. I have 3 classes that can 1 shot people. I have 3 that can 1 shot 5. PvP gear fixes that and you have to have situational awareness you can't face roll, you need good set up to 1 shot people.

I think they need to work on more knock downs for pvp. You wanna stop a berzerker or slayer? 1 shot them or knock their asses out.

Friend of mine gave me a beta code for this on the weekend. I was actually surprised at how much I enjoyed the gameplay. I rolled an Aman 'zerker, the intuitive blocking is actually pretty cool. I slowly became dishartened with the game as I noticed I was the only male toon and the rest of the people playing were either slutty whores or pedo fodder. Everyone starting on the same island is a pretty big let down, mostly because it's plot hook and presentation through the quests was extremely uninteresting. The plot and world just seem so mundane, for a game with cutscenes and voice acting there SHOULD be something to rope you in.

I got bored of my 'zerker and figured I would try a caster to get a well rounded opinion. The gameplay for the sorcerer was just as fun. I rather liked actually having to run from attacks, actively get ground and dodge. I'm sad the beta wipes your toons each weekend and is only available in 3 day blocks every other weekend. In short, the diablo like gameplay is the best part of it.

So, I got a beta for this. Guess I'll try it.

The games just like WoW with a tutorial at the start. It may be made in Korea but it's very western.

Patches are nearly done downloading. Took ages, rofl.

Yea the games combat is fresh but the questing isn't too incredible. Although they loved using cutscenes for every other quest and the voice actor that does that cop guy in Mass Effect does one of the knights. Dungeons and PvP definitely are where the game shines. Class balance is your typical Korean affair as well with the tanks and healers doing almost no damage while the DPS do insane damage.

Hey they make a new warcraft game that plays nothing like click and watch I shall be back on the boat. 3 years was enough of wow for me :E
As for tanks and healers doing no damage get to around 45 and they kinda catch up. Berzerkers and Sorceres however are utter bullshit.

I mean the stories nothing very special but it's good enough and you really shouldn't be going to MMO's for great storytelling that doesn't either make you and the other 5 million people around you all great amazing heroes. Overall there's enough scripting even in this game to make the questing a little less monotonous (besides the fact that you need to avoid shit). It's a nice thing to do on the side right now waiting for MoP Beta patches and GW2 weekends. It definitely isn't your typical Asian game at least in that you end up just grinding though I guess you can group up and grind BAMs (Big Ass Monsters).

The game will not last very long at all unfortunatly.. Its good but nothing really sets it apart from anything else considering its story telling is terrible and its combat is very action esque like Guild Wars 2 except you just pay once for that.

I don't like you can't shoot while moving.

Aside from that, combat feels pretty nice. Would have preferred more abilities, it felt you were using the same all the time. Equipment looked all the same, too (I think you must use some stuff that changes how it looks or something, didn't understand how it worked well).

Also, so many boobs. You see boobs wherever you look at, lol.

I remember walking into the first city and being greeted by a statue of tits. It's pretty sad.

I remember opening the game.
