Now that's interesting, former scourge holdout turned into a shadow council base? huh.

I do agree on Jadenaar, Felwood in general has a lot of potential that never feels capitalized on.

It's even cooler. The Shadow Council (including Blood Elves and Argus Wake!) takes over Caer Darrow, while the Cult of the Damned barricades down in the Scholomances and refuses to cooperate with the warlocks, who want to turn them to the Legion.

This gave me interest in Warcraft again:

Wow, Argus Wake? We haven't heard of them since Vanilla have we?

Indeed. Those quest-makers were really something special.

Though the DK campaign still baffles me. Especially with how all the people they animated are like: "SIGN ME UP FOR UNDEATH, YEEEAAAAH!"

Bah, DK's were a mistake tbh, I'd have preferred Rune Knights using reverse-engineered Titan, Scourge, and 'primal' runes.

They usually go for those who are most likely to join them.

I don't see how that applies to an orc, a Trollbane, and a goddamn Scarlet Crusader. None of those groups ever tolerated undeath. It's an asspull to get cool characters.

While we're on the topic of stuff the Legion has done outside the Broken Isles, the Night's Watch went all cult on us, slaughtered Duskwood, and tried to summon demons in Stormwind, forcing the city on lockdown. Garona and the rogue player took care of it.

The dreadlord Detheroc kidnapped and impersonated Mathias Shaw and told lies to Anduin to prompt another faction war in the middle of the Legion stuff. He also put up wanted posters of the players saying we were traitors. The rogue player, Taoshi, and the real Shaw took care of that.

Healer druids learn the Well of Eternity on Hyjal was almost completely blown up, just a puddle is left. It doesn't stay that way after but that's probably game mechanics getting in the way.

The Exodar stuff was pretty big. We learned Turalyon is alive leading the Army of Light as it fights on Argus, and we learned Kil'jaeden kidnapped Velen's thought-dead son and raised him as a man'ari. In the end Velen orders the Exodar repaired and made ready to go to Argus.

An orc with a reputation for fighting and loyalty in the midst of a demonic invasion (granted who doesn't), why would a trollbane be a no, and Whitemane was a gamble.

All come from cultures and groups that opposed undeath. A necromancer, a warlock, a mercenary could welcome it. An orc's dream is to die in battle and reunite with the ancestors. And yet Nazgrim's like "SIGN ME UP!"

The whole thing is a hastily and poorly written mess anyway. Why is Varian deferring to Sylvanas throughout everything? Up to and including all the quips? This should've been Vol'jin's final moment in the sun instead. Why DIDN'T they have some sort of plan in place to mutually warn/communicate with one another about a retreat? This of course is contradicted by Varian and Sylvanas somehow being able to fucking shout to one another from about a hundred meters away in the middle of a battle. Everybody acts so surprised to see the Argent Crusade. Did nobody know about them? Did they try and solo it? Why didn't they coordinate the three forces together? AHHHHHHHHH!
Well, you can argue that the assault was planned by a Dreadlord. It's in the Rogue campaign.

An interesting thing to note is that from the dialogue of the Shadow Council members, they look down on the Cult of the Damned and necromancy in general. From what I remember, they considered them almost like a joke, a joke that the warlocks were only barely tolerating and allowing to exist.

FWIW, the Well is restored by the end of the Druid campaign. The PC and all the other big-name druids use it to summon Malorne.

I mean, I don't think it's fully restored, probably it's almost empty with a small puddle at the bottom.

No it's perfectly fine, and frankly it's part of why I've come to hate Tauren, their characters are interchangeable.

Magatha is the one exception and she's still terrible.

Cairne is no different from Baine or Hamuul.

Rethu isn't a tauren. I refuse to acknowledge the moose.

All the more reason to advocate for a Mayla-Baine power couple. It's not too late, Blizzard!

Bring the Highmountain and Bloodhoof together. Imagine moose and cows, living as one!
